  1. I've given up on Raw without actually deciding to, only realised when I saw an ad for Extreme Rules I've not watched it since Wrestlemania, just always delete it from Sky plus the week after it's been on, suppose I should just take it off series link

Ironically I think it's getting the network that's put me off, watching old shows from when I was proper into wrestling has made me realise how shit I think current WWE is, might give it another go if it goes back to two hours, least I can get through it in about an hour then

Ive been meaning to get around to posting a near identicle post to this one.

The Network shout is spot on, all that awesome content + those Attitude Era Raws, u would be mad to spend any of ur wrestling time watching the latest Raw.

Ive came up with a totally paranoid theory that all the Attitude Era content that is getting put onto the Network is an attempt by WWE to phase all of us 25-45 year olds who just see the WWE as that girlfriend who is just not doing for you anymore but you stay with her anyway because you have been together for years, out of the current product. I had the network since Mania Sunday and since then ive watched about an hour of Raw, no Smackdown and even no NXT. I want Austin and his BMF walk and JR rippin the shit out of WCW. So WWE have already brainwashed me to reject the current product.

    Dont do drugs kids.

Ps. Sorry about saying "current product" like a f*ckin' mark. It was either that or "real time WWE", which sounds stupid.

  2. Paul not signing Kurt is best for business.

I think he may have had more of a chance if Sting hadnt taken up 2015s "Old Timer Returns" slot.

Havnt watched TNA for ages, last saw Kurt when he was in a fued with Trouble Trouble Trouble Trouble Trouble and he looked f*cked then.

  3. Weighing in on the Stephanie debate.

I think she comes across that she trys too hard sometimes to be the FEMALE authority figure in a MALE dominated sport(?).

Now im not saying shes a big man hatin' feminist but the only times i can remember her showing "proper arse" this year was when she got thrown in the paddling pool by Vicky and got the shit slapped out of her by Brie and then at Mania v Rousey.

I know its PG these days so Austin givin her a stunner or Rikishi giving her a stinkface wouldnt fly but the male talent these days really dont get to show her her arse.

What did Bryan get out of it? (i know he got the title but HHH had to show arse for him to get that) He shouted YES! as they walked out of the arena on the Raw after Survivor Series, well over a year after Bryan started his fued with the Authority.

I like Steph on TV as The Authority but i would like it more if we saw abit more of her ARSE.

  4.

People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

    Can this phrase be banned?

Its such a lazy effort that has been posted millions of times.

Especially without even explaining WTF he's talking about or referring to.
Thats why it needs banning, its the ultimate stock bullshit post.

Its almost an adult version of when kids say "what you say is what you are!".

    Pack it in.

  5. Jericho had Bryan on this week. His body sounds pretty fucked, can't see the WWE rolling the dice with him as a headliner again. He doesn't sound too bothered about not main eventing Mania either, also gave the opposite opinion of Punk on the WWE doctors. Good little listen.

Bryans a nice fella and that but that podcast bored me. 90% of the interview centres on or involves injuries.

Jerichos attempt to repair public relations with "Egypt" was enjoyable for how cringey it was.

"Im just saying i like Roman and the fans are entitled to their opinion"

    Ok Chris, fuck off mate.

  6. They had something with Ambrose with the showing up out of nowhere thing against Seth Rollins. He could probably have ended up in the main event if they hadn't jobbed him out and turned him into a comedy act.

Yeah he had that "im going to stop you from cashing in every time you try" which was cool.

When he (and Rollins) climbed the cell at the start of that match i thought Ambrose was going to get the Rollins treatment and me made into a proper star. Instead we got the hokey Wyatt ghost thing, the loss via monitor and all kinds of shit backstage bits.

All i like about Ambrose now is his off the ropes clothesline thing. Fingers crossed they can turn him around but i dont have faith they can.

  7. I stopped giving a shit about Ambrose when he started spraying heels with Ketchup. Has he even won a PPV match since the split?

He is just a goofy loser now.

I believe his last PPV singles win was against RVD on the pre show of SSlam 2013.

    Poor form.

  8. Ive been disappointed by Ambrose since Hell In A Cell but the final straw.was this Monday on Raw after he won his tag match with Truth.

My thought process after they won...

"Haha Ambrose is just going to twat Truth here"...

"Haha he is lulling Truth into a false sense of security by feining a little dance then he is going to twat Truth"...

"He is just dancing and isnt not going to twat Truth"

I know he had a go at Ziggler after his ref duties but it was too late.

    He should have twatted Truth.

  9. Was just thinking about Rusev while watching RAW and does anyone think he'd have been as successful as he has been as a heel if he'd been waving about a Bulgarian flag etc. or do you think changing his country allegiance to Russia was required to get the character over?

I think so. There is the Rocky vs Drago blueprint but i also think the only exposure the US has had of Bulgaria is the lovable underdog squad Bulgaria had at the 1994 World Cup which featured great lads such as Stoichkov and Letchkov!

Fair fucks to WWE with Rusev, the pasy year he has been booked to perfection. From his build up of opponents Truth, Swagger, Henry, Big Show and Cena to his interaction with the Rock. Obviously Lana has only added to his aura but Rusev is the man and i expect big things (a WWE title run) from him this year.

  10. Ol' Phlegm Eyes' new t shirt isnt cool at all is it?

I not too arsed with the main matches in the regards that any result wouldnt really bother me, thats a lie, i totally want Cena to win.

The match im probably invested in the most is the Battle Royale because im massive Sandow mark and to see him dump Miz out last to win it would get a pop and a half out of me!

WWE being WWE though im calling Sheamus to return at Mania and win the Battle Royale.

  11. There was at least one chamber match where Mysterio was jumping around all over the gaff, clinging to the chains and bumping like a madman. I remember thinking they were close to career best performances from him, and he's had one of the best careers of anyone in wrestling.

I think you talking about the WHC Chamber in 2009 when Edge jumped Kofi at the start.

The final 2 were Egde and Rey and they had a fair bit of time and Rey was brilliant!

I also love Edge v Rey at the 2008 Rumble.

  12. Since i found out Reigns wears contact lenses his eyes dont look right.

I think he used to have a blue colour lens but from watching the Raw hour show just now his eyes seem to be a sort a flem colour lens and his eyes, like i said, look weird.

  13. That Cena segment was f'n awesome. I actually had to rearrage my face due to the stupid grin/smile from when Steph came out until they went to the adverts. Axel was great, i may be being swerved but if hes got custom trunks, could there be a mid card run for him as a comedy face to fill the Santino void?
