  1. No there shouldn't because then you'll just end with #BringBackAttitudeEra, and we've been over that before

Shane was more than an Attitude Era star...

    2001 Invasion Era Shane

    2003 Kane fuedin' Shane

    2006 Demon seed Shane

    2008 Sack Mike Adamle Shane

    2009 Legacy fuedin' Shane

So many Shanes, and i loved everyone of 'em!

  2. Watching a Raw from Linus' day, and a few thoughts that have come up:

Marlena-era Terri Runnels is by far the sexiest woman ever in wrestling.

"Make a Difference" Fatu used the RKO/Diamond Cutter as a standard setup move.

They built up a Bulldog vs Jake PPV match by narrating over a five-minute clip of them brawling at a house show.

Goldust's nominated for a Slammy award for Best Buns.

Vince: "He gives new meaning to the term 'cheek to cheek'."

Lawler: "Uh, you're a little homophobic, McMahon."

    Vince: "You got that right."

Sunny (who won that Slammy) was absolutely gorgeous as well. And what a character. That pre-attitude trio was the greatest female roster ever. Zip looked a lot like Matt Hardy in the face, and I don't remember ever thinking that about Dr Tom at any other point in his career.

Tajiri was a jobber in 1996! Wearing trunks and kickpads and losing to the Godwinns.

Yep im havin that, she just looked like a dirty bastard, she hadnt had the nose job yet aswell.

  3.

Balor impressed the shit out of me.

What about Itami? Is he still not looking up to scratch?

    Itami's alright, really small though.

For me, everyone upped their game for the Balor debut, but he was clearly the star rather than Itami.

Most definately, it was a crackin little tag match.

What height is Balor? Id say 5'9 which would make Itami 5'6?

  4. Will be a better crowd tonight, always is.  Smaller though.  The nobs only go to Raw.

Nah the Luke Harper thing wasn't played to the crowd. It probably could have almost saved the show if they'd done that out on the stage at the end.

We stayed until the end of the dark match, and honestly don't remember seeing the Harper thing on the tron.

That's odd, seeing as there wasn't a dark match.

I think he means the "dark seg" with Cenas crew and Rollins' crew.

You're right about the crowd being less nob headish tonight for Smackdown. I got 4 free tickets off Jost Matthews for a Liverpool SD 3 years ago. Might be worth going down on the blag.

It was shown during Zigglers entrance.

Also whats the deal with Rowan randomly walking out during the Rose match?

  6. According to Twitter, there are an awful lot of rumours that the following will not be at Raw tomorrow night...

    Ambrose

    Wyatt

    Ziggler

    Kane

    Cesaro

    Usos

    Dusts

    Orton (i knew that though)

Ive got a ticket and im not happy. The main event is Cena v Ryback and with the wrestlers that arnt going to be there i can only imagine Cena/Ryback will be a double Iron Man Match.

    Not happy.

  7. Ive been a veiwer of Impact since 2007 and its actually a sad experience watching the show. The Hardyz are currently wrestling in front of a crowd of fuck all. The cameraman is trying so hard no to get the big, black, gaping arena into shot but its an impossible task. TNA need that pink room the AWA used to use when they were on their arse.

  8. I enjoyed Raw this week, im suprised nobody has mentioned the awesome Miz/Mizdow combination. Finally Mizdow picked up a win but the highlight for me was the reaction from the Miz when Mizdow won and the line "How many times do I have to beat you?" from Miz.

  9. Having just watched every cell match from 1997-2007 on the WWE DVD this weekend (bar the Mania 15 and the dog one) every match was built as a fued ender for great captivating fueds that were put together brilliantly I find it poor on WWEs behalf that they have let the HIAC match become a piss poor imitation of its former self. This "throw together" Cena/Orton match is a perfect example of this.

However, and this may be just myself getting carried away after spending the past 72 hours watching Foleys HIAC bumps, if there was a guy who was going to put an end to a 14 year baron run of nobody going thru the top of the cell or getting thrown of the cell then Seth Rollins is the man to do it. I know the cell they use now is much bigger than the old cell but I can still live in hope.
