I think if the HHH v Sting build up featured Flair in some sort of "Sting and HHH have been my best friends for the past 30 years" deal, that would be cool.

I watched the remake of Oldboy last night, I didnt enjoy it, havent seen the original.

I did enjoy Willow Creek though, im a mark for found footage films, the film is quite short (about 70 minutes) and is a creepy watch.

Also find it hilarious how stupid they're making Tyson Kidd look.

It was a unique look though, standing ringside on his phone, headphones on, not giving a shite about the match taking place right next to him.

Caught Raw...

- The Ambrose/Rollins comedy was well played throughout the show.

-Big Show was on form. Really enjoyed his seg, which may be testament to the writers because we have been waiting a long time for Rusev to be shown his arse.

-AJs face is punchable

-Miz and Sandow were quality again! Enjoyed Miz gettin a shot back in on HHH after "the straight to dvd" line. Go Miz.

-Henry gave Bo a hell beatdown with those boxes backstage.

Not a brilliant Raw, but I think these days aslong as you dont watch it live then you can fast forward most the tripe and condense it into a good hours veiwing.

Also, last week I read online that apparently Hell in a Cell will feature a Ambrose/Cena match at the ppv with the winner getting Rollins in the Cell later on that night. With no Lesnar (it seems) for the ppv I think that scenario looks a winner.

Taker vs. Ambrose? Any particular reason for that one?

Ambrose didnt have a match (there was Orton but fuck that at Mania) so I thought throw him in with old Takes'. Also "the 2 in 21-2" has a good ring to it haha

Chalk me up for somebody else who would like to see Taker losing clean to Bryan at Mania.

Random in the sense I don't follow the current product too well, but understand that Rusev is still doing the anti-American gimmick (well pro-Russian perhaps).

 

Just wondering aloud if this is a potential mechanism to get Hogan or Angle in the frame for a one off Mania match after some good ol' Uncle Sam boys are destroyed by the foreign enemy.

That would be awesome but I think Cena or Bryan will get the Rusev match at Mania. Thinking ahead to Mania does anyone have a feel yet to what the main matxhes will be?

Cena, HHH, Orton, Kane, the cornerstones on the WWE for the past 10 years have all had basically had the same move set for the past 10 years so I think your being a bit harsh on Austin there.

I think Joe (being 35) may just be too old for NXT, I appreicate Steen (30), Devitt and Kenta (both 33) have just been signed but I cant see anymore "indy vets" being signed up soon. I would love to see Joe in a WWE ring, Joe, Aries, Roode and of course Angle would all kick ass in WWE.

This thread has taught me the rule that if nobody posts before 1pm the day after Raw, then that Raw sucked.

its just heartbreak for Smith, he put up a hell of an effort and the scorecards just seem to strip all that from him because it had no reflection on what actually happened in the ring. Like everyone's saying, it could have gone either way but the actual scoring is just scandalous, there's not a fair person on earth who gives Abraham 11 rounds, it's impossible!

Steens got to debut as a heel hasnt he? NXT has 4 solid top guys in Neville, Zayn, Balor and Itami. In terms of heels, who are the top guys? Kidd? Breeze?

I would have Zayn beat Neville for the title and then fued with a heel Steen, its a must. The matches they had in ROH were up there and its a guaranteed fued that will work. Give Zayn the belt around Nov/Dec and have him drop it Mar/Apr, then call Zayn up to the big time a couple of weeks after Mania 31.

If you look at it from a B level PPV point of view then it is an enjoybale watch.

The generic ppv sets really annoy me, its just laziness on WWEs behalf now.
