Im watching Bulldog v HBK at One Night Only and just wanted to know what people thought of the "Bulldogs leg goes through the floor" spot.
Â
Was it planned?
Â
Im 80% sure it was, the fact Bulldog had a brace on that leg also leads me to believe it was planned, but fuck me, it looks wonderful!
-
Im also enjoying Sandow as sidekick, reminds of when Miz had Riley during his title run which was his best work in WWE.
Â
Hoping the split leads to Sandow as a comedic face which would fill the void left by Santino.

Christ how many tapings did TNA do in New York, must be at least 8.
-
Watched the latest NXT last night featuring He-day-o's debut, his finisher looks impressive, cant help but feel Low Ki does it better though.
Â
The shout on here the other day about Charlotte looking like a tranny having second thoughts had me in stitches during her match with the aussie theif Emma.
-
Never seen that picture before, Edgar. Thanks!
Â
When did those two face off?
They havnt, its a blatent photo shop!
-
According to Meltzer, WWE spoke to him about a developmental contract but it was ages ago and they consider the idea dead.
TNA it is then!

Rollins at 7/4 (he was yesterday when I threw £20 on him) is the bet this weekend. WWE have put alot of stock behind Rollins, and rightly so, the fact he got pinned clean by Reigns on Monday screams to me that hes getting the win on Sunday.
Â
Away from a flutter is it just me or would anyone else love to see a Shield 3 way at HIAC in HIAC. I can see that happening if Cena wins on Sunday, Brock goes away for a while, Cena semi mains v Rusev and the Hounds go on last and tear it up.

Who were the Smackdown 6?Â
Â
Edge, Rey, Chavo, Eddie, Benoit and Angle
Â
Between those guys all had great matches together on SD from 02-03, singles and tag.
Â
Heyman is credited with making SD better than Raw in that period when he had the book and those 6 guys all contributed in making SD a cracking show.
Â
Â
Â
We had the Smackdown 6, now it's the NXT 5. Going to be a good few months ahead on that show

Yeah, Bret Hart bleeds shitloads in the brilliant main event of IYH 5 against Davey in December 1995.Where there any major gushes in matches (except Sunny obviously, wheyyyy!) between 1994-1996?
Â
Edit: "Jinx"
Never seen that match, I will give it a watch, cheers.

Is the Death of WCW book any good?
I enjoyed it, I love the Wrestlecrap books, good fun, great toilet reading.
-

I may have to go back and watch it again but the things that are sticking out for me are the atrocious production settings and a jobberful 6 man tag. Was the main event a blood fest with Taker or Vader bleeding "like a stuck pig".
-
Me too, he seems like a charismic type of guy with a unique look that could be a really good addition to TNA. I cant believe that its been nearly a year since EC3 debuted, credit to TNA and EC3 himself because hes a been great tv.

The dude on the mat that has been laid out
-
Looks like spud to me
Same here

1997 does look like a hoot looking back, especially from just before Mania 13, everything just seemed so amped up.
Â
Although I cant remember watching a worse PPV than that Final Four dross.
-
It was little things like after Lesnar kicks Cena out of the ring and hes just stood there like a big goon totally oblivious to Cena getting in the ring. Also when Cena got the upper hand on the outside it just looked slow and clumsy. I did love it when Cena ran the ropes when Lesnars music hit.
-
Id love to be one of these dudes who have a hard time sorting fake from reality with the arl wrestling.
Â
My dad is a total mark for Total Divas (the pervy bastard) and constantly asks if Bryan and Bella are REALLY married.
-
Go on then what year was the best? From what I have watched back from 1993-1998 the best year was 1997 right?
-
2000? I was there for 2000.
-
Owen Hart being featured as a premier wrestler on that box reminds me why I didnt watch wrestling from Mania 9 to Fully Loaded 1998.
Â
Just seen the Rumble pack, Mark Mero, jesus.
-
Currently on holiday in Greece and spent half of last night arguing with a Polish dude who was (and still is) adamant that the Benoit episode was as he would say "nitreel" (not real)
-
So let me guess, he's going to be someone's bodyguard
From looking at that picture there is no guess work really needed.
-
Just watched the Cena/Lesnar brawl seg.
Â
Awful.

I wasnt watching in 1997 unfortunately but from what ive read Bulldog promotion for the match was that he was going to win for his sick sister.
Â
There is a promo for the match from HBK were he looks pilled up to the max.
Â
As for Bulldogs foot going thru the rails like you say it looks awesome and if that was planned whoever came up with that is a genius. The crowds reaction makes you proud to be British, HBK the little shite.
