Really enjoyed the main event this week, Crews is brilliant. Looks the absolute part.
I actually felt the complete opposite by the end of that match. I'm quite bored of Crews already. Yes his matches are decent enough and he has a good look but he's missing that something to really make him into a decent character you want to support. The potential is there but at the moment I'm struggling to get excited about him.

Taking the chance to watch Twin Peaks again as it's on Sky box sets.
Â
The older I get the more I realise just how much it shaped the TV to come after it and so many of my favourite shows over the years.
Â
Regarding the new series, I don't think I've ever been as excited and scared for a TV comeback. Though the new XFiles comes close. Haven't tried that yet as decided to wait for Five.

A whole bunch of videos of NXT promo class from 2013 including prototype Bayley, a mime act Carmella and Oliver Grey showing more personality than a decade of being in the ring:

These are amazing and show just how important NXT has been for a LOT of them. God the majority were awful.
Â
That Becky/Charlotte one needs to make it onto TV as part of their feud

There's a lot of potential to the character. They just don't seem to do anything with it. At least with Bryan that went somewhere for a while.
Â
I know they can't push it too far but surely they can do some more cultish stuff rather than just group attacks.
-
I still feel like Bray lacks direction or im just too stupid to get what he's saying most of the time. He just seems weird without any meaning behind it sometimes.
-
That's definitely the main problem at the moment - Heyman really has nothing to work with. No focus at all and no real commitment to going full face or heel. That's not to say tweener Brock doesn't work - he should be killing everyone - but Heyman is weakened by the lack of focus.
Â
It doesn't help that there's a huge gaping hole when it comes to managers too. There's only so much Paul can do on his own before inevitably falling into the same trap as everyone else on the roster - overexposure. Especially with the responsibility of pushing feuds for a client that isn't there too often.
-
I'd just have Lesnar beat up Strowman every week. I don't think I'd get bored of that.
-
Yeah I guess they didn't want him to stray too far if they were going to get them back together eventually. It's a difficult thing, though saying that it wasn't exactly the most logical booking with Rowan and his face turn then heel turn, so they could probably do whatever they want with Harper and not bother to explain it.
-
Reminds me of how disappointed I was with Harper's solo push of sorts. I really thought he could have been something decent.
-
I'd happily watch Strowman/Lesnar as the Rumble was fun. Don't think Taker smashing him around would have quite the same impact. Not that I'd really want them wasting Lesnar like that.
-
The Jinx is back on Sky Box Sets for anyone that missed it before or wants to see it again. Highly recommended.
-
Yeah I really enjoy the backstage interactions and seeing how down to earth so many of them are. Loved seeing the NXT guys and gals watching Seth from the crowd and how much being there meant to Sting and Paige. Could have happily watched another hour.
-
Definitely up there as one of their best signings for me.
-
You can probably just stop at "I don't understand why TNA."
-
Don't know much about Swann beyond the name. Is he pretty decent? Hard to tell from that as a debut.
-
I don't really understand why they'd want to turn their best heel and arguably the highlight of their programming in recent years. He had a lot of mileage left for me.
-
Good point about Becky actually managing to get away with insulting Ric without the crowd turning on her. I thought that'd be a problem but thankfully the Flair heel stuff seems to be working. It helps that Charlotte works far better as the cocky superior role, and she may even turn on her dad at some point if they carry on down this route.
-
It's very difficult to keep talents away from being over-exposed when WWE have so many hours of TV to fill a week. I've felt that's the main problem for a long time now.
Â
It's fine for someone like Lesnar on a part-time basis but it's not like you can have all talent like that.
-
You pissed?
-
I think Liv Morgan is my new favourite. Give me more of her.
-
Yeah its definitely more of a 'recent' failure for NXT call ups other than Kevin Owens.
Â
People like Adam Rose, Tyler Breeze, Bo Dallas and The Ascension don't have the gimmicks to be succeeding at a high level. Breeze is a decent hand but I never saw him being huge on the main roster.
Â
You can't expect everyone coming out of NXT to have huge success. Some of them don't even have that down there. And some that do are only received well in a small loyal environment.
-
I liked that they gave a little promo time to the girls to give them each a bit of character. Even if some of them were terrible.
-
Bryan achieved more than anyone ever thought WWE would let him.
-
Ambrose seems to be showing what he plans to do to Renee later that night.

I thought that maybe because of the Breaking Ground stuff, they'd just decided to go with her 'normal' personality.
