  1. Christopher Daniels cut a fucking brilliant promo on this weeks ROH TV, the go home show for Friday's PPV. Pretty emotional stuff.

Probably the best thing I've ever seen him do, and I've always enjoyed his work. Promos like that are what the industry desperately needs.
  2. Foley could.. no, SHOULD be very good. He's more than capable. God knows why he's fucking up so much.

Anyway.. err, the babyface turn for Seth Rollins basically involves him jumping off a load of shit. Will probably work.

Cruiserweights had a decent enough showing.

    Jericho is Jericho.

    That's about it really.

  3. I couldn't get into Mr Robot. Watched the first few.. Nothing terrible just didn't grab me. Also it was a bit 'Dexter with computers', and I hated Dexter.

I must admit I was pretty much the same the first time round. Think I watched about 4 and didn't exactly love it.

I've returned to it now and binge-watched everything up to the S2 finale and it's been very enjoyable.

Sometimes I'm just not very patient with shows. It happened with Breaking Bad and I didn't really love that until I was able to watch a lot at once.

  4. Ambrose isn't a shitarse in the slightest. He's capable of putting on good matches and having an interesting character and some really intriguing promos.

Is he at his best now? Probably not. His cocky work for a week or two recently was some of his more intriguing work and it'd be good to see that carry on versus Cena and AJ.

All he needs is direction really. They relied too long on the fans just liking him for being the slightly crazy one without actually making him do much.

  5.

Zak staying classy though. Well done! #pricks

well he is a hooligan lol, seriously though if you guys new half what we as family have to go through you would understand his anger, the BS Put about when we know truth is very frustrating. If people dont like Paige as a performer, fine, thats being up there to be knocked down, but bullshit, personal attacks and death threats on a regular basis to a young woman just trying to make her way in life is fucking ridiculous. As people we all make mistakes, my girl is no different but at least she had the bottle to get off her arris at 18 yrs old travel to a massive strange country and go for it and make enough money to be comfortable in life, whats to hate.?????

Some people hate success. Instead of being proud of someone from here being so successful, they are happier getting enjoyment out of mocking her. It's just the way some people are.

  6. As someone that loves horror, I pretty much watch from one end of the spectrum to the other. I enjoy the lighthearted goofy stuff and then I have a morbid curiosity for the disgusting stuff that pushes the boundaries.

'Enjoyment' would be a strange word to use for a lot of it. Take a movie like Martyrs for example - that's something that will stick with me for a long time, and left me completely drained and empty by the end of it. Yet it's not really something that exploits for the sake of it. The only movie that really left me with a similar feeling at the end was Requiem for a Dream and that was certainly a very different kind of movie.

There are movies in the extreme arena that can challenge you as a viewer and deliver something beyond shocking for the sake of it. It's very difficult to find though, and a lot of it is very disappointing, unoriginal and boring to me. It's just a case of having seen so much of it now that very little of it bothers me or keeps my interest. I know a lot of people wonder why you'd want to watch something like that, but as with any cinema, it's all about the emotional response. Even if it's a highly negative one in some ways, the movie has done its job.

Can't really say I got much out of A Serbian Film beyond 'why the fuck would you do that?' but I didn't really have the knowledge to understand it much beyond what was offered on the surface. Sometimes you need a little background knowledge before understanding a movie fully, or at least what they're aiming to show. Yet others offer no depth whatsoever.
