  5. I'd give a special mention to the Miz on Talking Smack when he cut loose on Daniel Bryan. The passion, Bryan's understated yet perfect response, added a new layer to their feud, loved everything about it.

Has Punk's pipebomb lost its impact because with hindsight, we know what was a huge moment in making him, would ultimately be wasted and builds eventually to Triple H vs Nash?

And Punk did come out with one of Mt favourite lines in wrestling, to Rock: 'Your arms are too short to box with God'

  8. Another vote for Bret Hart. I should like him - he vs Bulldog at Summerslam 92 is my favourite match ever, without him and the state Davey was in, it would have all fallen apart. I enjoyed his anti-US run in the build-up to Montreal, his match with Austin was stunning and so well constructed...  He's done so much I've genuinely enjoyed, but I really don't like the guy and I can't give an exact reason why.

  9. Mark Henry, pre-salmon jacket / Hall of Pain. There was something weirdly hypnotic about watching him headbutt someone and the sweat fly everywhere. Plus that Elimination Chamber match where his door got broken and he stood like a statue, waiting to be told what to do.

Tatanka, to this day I cannot explain my obsession with him.

I'll also join the Corbin love-in. I can't wait for his world title run. He takes delight in irritating the hell out of the Internet, and the Internet always bites!.

  10. Hopefully they'll be understanding. I got a bollocking when I tried to take a photo during a scan (of the screen, I should add). This was seven years ago and not during a pandemic, so things may have changed.

How little do they think of you when cabinet ministers fall over themselves to say that they go for a quick spin to test their eyes just to normalise it?

Christ, if the Daily Star has got political, you know its a fuck-up of colossal proportions.

The Benoit one isn’t on there, but instead of having no episode listed, they’ve got a highlight show of Wrestlemania matches against the date.

No doubt so they can continue to demonstrate the whole longest running weekly episodic shite without them referencing Benoit. They’re absolutely mental.

From what I remember, the Benoit tribute episode only ever aired once, which was the live showing. When replays were due to air, everyone knew what had happened, so the Mania compilation was screened instead for all the non-live shows over the world.
