For those fans of The Soup or Joel McHale, they're going to do a WWE special in the next week or two. Miz, Eve and Hornswoggle will be involved.

The video they were shooting at Raw with his own cameraman. I thought he was quite entertaining at times. The timing of the ambulance siren at the end was gold!

Why did WWE put Smackdown on against election coverage?
Â
Also, the pub where Sheamus and Show had their fight; was it the same one from the Inbetweeners pilot where Will tattles on everyone being underage?

John Pollock and Wai Ting's shows for the LAW and Fight Network are great. They review Raw and Impact each week, and one classic show. Very dry humour and over time I've really enjoyed getting to know their personalities. Curious dudes with their idiosyncrasies but I enjoy them a lot. The LAW show on Sundays with Lavranski and Agnew is a bit too much like a stereotypical loud radio show.

Konnan's MLW show is a great mix of his road stories and infor he gets from Rey, Court's experience with WWE creative and MSL updating everyone on what Larry Z is up to that week. However, Konnan can come across as overbearing at times, cutting off others when they're speaking and is usually high at the time, so things go over his head and the other two are left in awkward silence. They talk about a bunch of other subjects too.

Aftermath used to have a brilliant Daily Dose show but that's over now.

Santino and Ryder were on Sunday Brunch yesterday. Sorry if been posted. 1:14:58

Â
Ryder appears like a deer in headlights to some extent but once Santino is asked about how he got into wrestling, business picks up. Perfect kayfabe.

Punk said on this week's AOW with Cabana that he's organised it himself to appear on a popular TV show soon. Any ideas what it could be or what you would like to see him on?
-
Channel with a bunch of
episodes. If you havent seen this show, Jon Favareu has "dinner" with four actors or writers and talk. -
500 Days is a brilliant film. Just some heart-breaking stuff and is head-and-shoulders above the usual romantic comedies you get today. Actually formed part of my dissertation I was so taken with it. Turned me onto JGL who really, really knows how to pick some great films. Check out Mysterious Skin, Brick and The Lookout, as well as Inception and Looper out of his recent mainstream stuff.
Â
Zooey Deschanel is in New Girl which turns into a brilliant sitcom once they stop focusing everything around her. Some of her good films include Elf and All The Real Girls. Gigantic is very similar which she also stars in as a manic pixie girl to full effect.

Dolph's latest
featuring him speed-datingÂ
Don't really watch that show of his on Youtube but this was quite funny. I really hope that the girls' collective answer of Dane Cook wasn't scripted.

Just stumbled on Extreme Sports (SKY 419) and they're showing TNA's Most Extreme Matches. Didn't know they had any other UK exposure other than Challenge.

I can certainly see why people would hate it. I really liked it and zoomed through it. It's a comedy without any jokes, and you just sort of let it take you where it wants to go. It's random but not the annoying kind of random that has become popular through things like the Mighty Boosh and shit like that. I don't really watch sketch shows that much, though it doesn't feel too much like one. It has recurring characters but without relying on a catchphrase. I like how with each episode you see one small part of this larger area and every now and then they cross over. I think it loses a lot of the appeal outside of America, because the north-west has a perception in America of being very disconnected or "over there", and stuck in another time period, which those outside of America wouldn't get. As a project by two people who I'm assuming are from that area, I like it. It's on IFC in America so a bit like Louie, they're given free-reign to do what they like.

Has anyone seen the 15 min interview which JR did with Austin and Punk to promote WWE 13? I've got it downloaded but it's been taken down from YouTube several times from what I've seen. It's a great, kayfabe piece with Austin seemingly pissed off throughout the whole thing and Punk agitating him. I think it was filmed on Summerslam weekend before Punk turned full heel. It's a nice tease to get the rumour mill going about a potential match between the two. Austin has some great moments where he mutters stuff under his breath in a very authentic way while Punk gets in one or two good lines too. After years of having Austin on TV playing a jokey sherif or co-GM the last time we saw him, it's a welcome showing for him. It really reminded me of the JR interview between Austin and Rock prior to WM17. Excellent stuff if anyone can find it.

Just blown through S1 of Happy Endings. Very enjoyable.

Just watching the Sunny interview. A bit of a car wreck. I didn't know she dated Davey Richards.
Â
Question: who is the ROH guy she's rumoured to have slept with at a hotel in January when her boyfriend was downstairs?
-
Daily Mail piece on Sunny's busy week includes wrongly referring to a pic of Shawn as her current boyfriend.

I've just gotten into Storage Wars. It's a fun show and easy to go through about four in one go. Plus Brandy is a slightly chubby version of Jenna Fischer from The Office.
-
with a heel X Pac kicking the crap out of Evan Bourne/Matt Sydal who previously smashed through a door. Warning, some hammy acting even for wrestling standards.
Â
I always like Lacey in her ROH and Shimmer stuff. It's incredible how much she looks like Jenna Fischer from The Office.
-
Ricky Reyes drunk after a 2005 era ROH show, featuring CM Punk, Samoa Joe, Colt Cabana and others. Mentioned on this week's AOW with Cabana.

Terrific.

Has anyone met an openly gay wrestling fan?

Did anyone hear Court Bauer's story about Vince this week on the MLW podcast. It was from a while ago in a production meeting where Arn is going through a really intricate finish, and Vince is sat behind him, bored, motioning that he's pulled out a sword from his belt and is stabbing himself. The way Court told it was brilliant.
