  1. any Community fans on here, without a doubt my favorite american comedy at the moment, dare i say if it continues as it does, it might be another AD :o

i was ready to dismiss it at first, but my mate who has really similar taste begged me to get into it, and ended up flying through them in about a day. mixes good ol' comedy of different characters stuck together in a setting, with a plethora of pop culture references and some amazing concept-episodes, with enough meta-love to make charlie kauffman do a a little wee. i implore people to seek it out, especially the dungeons and dragons and xmas ep. also has joel mchale and chevy fucking chase in it, plus superb young talent in donald glover, who seems to be able to do everything under the son. plus allison brie <3

one example of a great gem, ive just noticed that in a past ep, abed helps a pregnant woman give birth at various stages of the ep in the background, which i never noticed before...amazing.

    so any fans?

  2. On a similar note to watching them in a different order.

Perhaps the 1st vignette was the end of the 'story' and the next two were showing us what led up to that point? That would explain why it was at the end of the 3rd vignette.

Person A teleports to the cabin, goes inside, looks outside the window.

    Person B arrives, walks inside

Perhaps on RAW or at Elimination Chamber we'll see two people walk out? Who knows, lol

Why would they broadcast them in a different order? This isn't Momento, you know...

    XD genuine LOL moment there

edit didnt even notice the spelling mistake

  3. Paul London plays a decent role in PWG's match of the year at Seven, in a three way Guerrilla Warfare match as he and El Generico take on The Young Bucks and The Cutlers. Definately must-see.

    ^

agree, just watched this match the other day, and as spotty as you'd expect, its a hell of a lot of fun, some of the spots are just crazy including matt jacksons swinging ddt on the apron. i'll also agree that london's been looking alot better as the year has gone on.

  4. yeah can i get a pm or link to that forum cant seem to find it either.

for me what hurt the pierce era too was trying to coordinate the television tapings, ppvs and live shows together, without diluting the product and trying to make it coherent. i remember struggling to keep up with what i was supposed to know going into a show etc i think gabe admitted that he never really got into a stride with that aspect either.

  5. do fixer vs embassy and yoshino is fantastic in fact, god ROH was at another level back in 2006

I still enjoy ROH 2010 and can't wait to be front row at the 9th Anny show (providing that Chicago as the iPPV doesn't need the Anniversary tag and NYC in March get it)

oh dont get wrong, still a fan of the product, after abit of a meh run, this year they've had some bloody good shows and things going on, notably steen/generico, just staying that the 2005 era was insanely good, up and down the card.

might need to rewatch some 05 stuff before the hols end.

  6. Not seen Scott Pilgram yet but anything with Micheal Cera in is a turn off for me since he can't play any character apart from the awkward/bumbling/geeky/shy teenager he's been playing since Superbad and that got old really fast. Same goes for Jesse Eisenberg(who's basically his clone) but at least he had the good fortune of starring in the awesome Zombie Land.

Someone hasn't seen The Social Network...

yeah Social Network might be my favorite film of the year, based on performance, writing, score and overall look and feel. Even though the character of mark zuckerberg as portrayed in the film is kinda derivitive of the type of awkwardness that eisenberg has played in other films, he's still really good in it. Adventureland, Zombieland and The Squid & The Whale all get recommendations from me too.
