  1. What I like is the fact he no sold it and looked cool as fuck afterwards. Mr. Perfect did a similar thing.

i really liked it at survivor series 97 when on the way to the ring, shawn got hit with a drink and he just brushed it off and shook his hair like his he was in a head & shoulders ad with a massive grin...totally class.

  2. cheers for that.

just wondering if this section would be better to ask what some of the best wwe ppvs have been since 2008 as im planning on going on a little spree; a combination of being a student in that time and falling out of touch with the product for long periods means i have some gaps to plug in my collection (i do have all the manias though).

  3. did i dream that there was there a storyline in wcw around 99-00 where curt henning was on a massive losing streak? it sticks out in my mind and i was really pulling for him in every match he had, but cant find any confirmation of it.

  4. The new Lucozade advert suprises me on a few levels and all of them are levels of crap. Firstly, a cover of a song ('Buck Rogers' by Feeder) that is on a level of piss-poority as the cover of A track 'Number One' used in Young Persons Guide To Becoming A Rock Star'

Secondly, using the The James Cleaver Quintet? Screamo arsery adopting their sound for the masses, big suprise there.

Thirdly, the unashamed demographic of going for what the 'kids' of today like with the skateboards and 3 wheeler! Should have done it properly, the band in front of a bored looking crowd with their arms crossed in Camden, waiting for something good to happen then walking out to the streets which are being looted and on fire.

that new lucozade ad was filmed near my old uni house in brighton, and yes that massive hill was a bitch to walk up everyday.

  5. Currently watching Battlestar Galactica (the new one that is) on Blu-ray and I'm really enjoying it so far (on the first part of the mini series), been meaning to watch it for a long time and I simply couldn't resist the entire series on Blu-ray.

you're in for some good stuff, i envy you a little. the beginning of s3 in particular has some very interesting ideas

  6. so what about all the arson and people jumping from burning buildings, thats attempted murder surely

thats the thing, these cretins are so blinded they dont realise that people are likely in those buildings, they just want to smash and burn.

  7. kim dickens pops up in a lot of television and film, she's done a lot of biggies, like LOST and Friday Night Lights too.

if i were jack from LOST i would have done everything to hang on to julie bowen, kate really doesnt compare

  8. just finished Undisputed, not as good as A Lions Tale, but still really good read. A lot more non-wrestling stuff that i didnt really care for as much, a part from the bit on his DUI arrest. the stuff about him not quite fitting in at wwe to begin with was really good stuff and i echo what was said as far as the insight into vince's character, like him talking on end out of nowhere about the old times. one thing that jarred with me with this book, was that jericho's humour came off as incredibly corny at times, and some of the pop culture references were really unnecessary or didnt have as much zing, as others. i cant remember it sticking out as much in the first book, but i enjoyed most anyway.
