  1. Frank Castle is the man.

On the coolness thing, hitmam 87 as a 10 yr old was the coolest man on the planet. Hulkster was always my number 1 favourite but whenever a pair of shades were worn in the summer, the head went back and the hands went out, hair dripping in cheap gel slicked back. The hitman was definately king of coolness.

  2. Martin Murray and Spencer Oliver both tipped Guerrero on Ringside this week. I think Guerrero will go for it but ultimately will get picked off to much. Cant see past a Mayweather pts victory. I hope they dont have those two Goons commentating who did the Cotto/Mayweather fight. Would be funny to see Mayweather lose after Showtime have spent all that wedge on him.

Ive warched the first two all access things, will watch the 3rd one tonight? Is there 3 or 4?

  3. Big Audley is 50-1 to win in the 1st round, also 50-1 to win in the second and the 3rd. Got to be worth a quid on each. I imagine Wilder will spark him out within the first 3 as Audley seems to shite himself from big punchers, but Wilder can get caught and i cant see this fight going much over 3 rounds.

Murray v Martinez should have a great atmosphere, i've gone with Martinez making it a hatrick of stoppages in the 11th over the brits at 14-1. Murray is a tough solid fighter but is not at the level of Martinez and with 40 odd thousand mad home fans there is should be quite the spectacle.

Garcia to spark out Judah within 5. Judah is long past his sell by date. I like Garcia and his dads always good for a bit of verbal. Although Garcia is champ alot of peple still underate or dont rate him on a few yank forums. If Matthyse beats Peterson which i think he will and these two fight, that would be a great matchup.

Not that arsed about the Khan fight, i think it will probably go the same way as his last one, with him being prety dominant and stopping Diaz between 6-9 rounds.

  4. From what i've read so far its been good. Yeh enjoyed the Hennig article. Nice story about his barnet for ss91. It was a terrible do.

Its interesting to hear cornette say that bearer would have loved all the pre mania shenanigans with punk and taker.

The siren is a top sort. Not sure what that siren search is all about but its always good to see a bit of eye candy in a mag.

  5. Lee Selby and the young Smith brother who fought lastnight are definatly ones to watch.

I just watched the Alvarez fight and thought he won it. Looked great dodging trouts punches and powerful going forward. He does nothing spectacular but always comes through. It was a strange fight, trout was pressing more than ive ever seen him and alvarez backing up more than ever before. Alvarez also didnt look like he could go at it solid for 12 rounds and seemed gassed in parts, but like i said he looked great on the ropes and has a savage uppercut. Good fight. Be interesting to see where he goes next.

  6. Taker looks a badass permanently. What a man. Got a handshake of him back in 2003 at the NEC after a rumble with brock and the big show, it was the last match of the night and he stayed behind and thanked the crowd for coming to see him saying he had been coming to the uk for so many years then went around shaking all ringsiders hands, so all that breaking charachter/short haircut stuff does not change what the taker is for me. Hes the man.

Think it was a tripple threat match anyway.

  7. Double stress fracture in his foot, so they say. That and the previous ankle injury makes it look like he's training for a marathon rather than a boxing match.

Episode 1 of Guerrero/Mayweather All Access is up on Youtube. Guerrero portrayed as the good old boy, bible thumping, family man. Mayweather as the bad guy. Then at the end, they flip it around with Guerrero getting arrested. I don't want to be harsh on Guerrero but 4 world titles at different weights and that's his house? Hopefully he's saving his money for retirement.

Rigondeaux/Donaire was a good fight. Rigondeaux is so slick with his movement its more like he's dancing. Donaire looked like he was lost. I wish he put more pressure on and pinned him into the corner so he couldn't escape. I still think Rigondeaux has a susceptible chin, his legs buckled a few times but he instantly knew and unleashed punches of his own. The HBO commentary was a bit wayward. They take Harold Lederman's unofficial scores as gospel and see what they want to, instead of calling it down the middle. Roy Jones Jr. is not a patch on Emmanuel Steward as the analyst. I think Showtime coverage is much better though, Bernstein is great and I like Paulie M as the analyst with his current insight.

What did u watch it on? Boxnation had timothy bradley and some other bloke commentating, i found them pretty poor. To be honest i thought it was a shite fight. There where times when they were just doing nothing. I think the first 30 seconds of the fight set the tone for the next 12 rounds. Donaire got caught early and was to cautios from then on, maybe with good reason. I think if donaire had have commited himself more after the knockdown he could have gone on to win.

Saying that Rigendoux looked pretty solid if unspectacular. I dont think to many people will be wanting to see a rematch.

    Nice arena though.

  8. Guys if you haven't seen it check out the new Mayweather doc. It's called 30 days in May and should be around youtube.

Is it good or just the usual stuff you get with him on 24/7? Padwork/i got loads of money/tension between him his dad and uncle.

  9. Crolla mattews was magnificent. Thought crolla nicked it but cannot argue with the result. A third match surely beckons. Was disapointed eith the bellew match, i dont think bellew has the engine to go at it solid fof 12 rounds and he could have lost the match if he had have got a point deducted as he should have after the first round. I genuinally think cleverly is the best in the world at that weight. He would outwork anyone in that division.

Havent seen the boxnation stuff yet but sounds great.

  10. Robert guererro has been arrested for trying to board a plane in new york with a gun. It wasnt loaded apparently. But gun laws in new york are apparently quite strict and he could possibly do time judging by what some yanks are saying and the mayweather fight could be in jeopardy. Boxing news 24

  11. didnt see that one coming, Wilder is 25-0 with 25 kos but people are very sceptical of his record...ill be watching that.

HBO have announced they'll be doing a new Legendary Nights show in June for Gatti-Ward 3, think its a one off but thats gonna be quality. The original Legendary Nights series was awesome.

Is there legendary nights shows for the first 2? They are brilliant shows.

On a side note, i think the fight in Rocky Balboa has a touch of the gatti ward 3 about.

  12. Has anyone else heard or read that big audley is meant to have put wilder down before i sparring? I read it on box news 24 but alot of the stuff you read on there is shite so it may well be bollocks. Ive seen Wilder a few times and he looks a bit wild pardon the pun. Hes never fought anyone good either from what ive read so he must be being protected. It could be a good chance for audley to finally get his klitchko shot if he beats him.
