    A last blood match.

8 participants, similar to Stadium Stampede. Except the person to bleed last is the winner. Moxley will always be the first eliminated followed by Danielson and it'll last about 30 seconds. Of course an AEW specific stip.

It's been done, TWA did it late in it's run IIRC.

  2. Someone on a podcast had similar and if I remember right they complained to him about his TV being to loud so he said they had a nerve with how they carried on and did an impression of her shouting "it's amazing" as she often did at the "best moments".

I'll have to find the episode, but it's a keeping up appearances podcast.

  3. I don't mind that sort of stuff if it's used.

I find every couple of years where I am they go through that sort of stuff, it always shows the same things about how I work and the same people are always supprised to read it but never use it to get the best out of me.

It's even applied badly on occasions " your profile says your not cut out to manage a team".

No, the profile says people like me excel managing a specialist team of SMEs with detailed specific subject knowledge rather than a generic support team, you did read it all yeah?

"Well, it was quite a long profile"

Ice breakers can fuck off, none of us give a shit who our heroes are or what biscuit best describes us. We care about how we are going to manage 80 hrs worth of work between 60 hours of capacity which the meeting is set up to discuss.

Anyone else watch TheRealJims on youtube? I've really dug his dives in to side and background characters through the years.

On a similar note check out David B Cooper who's trying to draw every character as he works through from series 1.

Some of the bits he puts on his shop are great too.

  5. I replayed Red Dead 2, still a great story. Once again I thought about completing the challenges and going 100% but though "fuck it".

Also finished Chrono Trigger for the first time a few months back, went through the black omen path and by the end game I'd gotten the rhythm down well enough (and was OP enough after all the side quests for special kit) to finish the main boss run quite easy. Went back on new game plus for some of the other endings but I've not got the free time now sadly.

Started borderlands 3 this morning, I've only ever played 1 before but it was great to see that nice style looking much crisper. Gameplay is much the same but that's no bad thing as long as the pacing is good, which might be my only minor issue with 1, and it feels like characters are more fleshed out.

After that I'll probably go back to replay Spidermon unless I see something fun going cheap online. I'm not dipping into the latest gen yet, normally wait for one game that I know will be worth the leap as I play so little now.

  6. Apparently Necro Butch is over for some hardcore tournament they're running in December.

I was curious on the price but the tickets section of the sites warning me it's not secure.

He seems like the type who knows just enough surface information about various subjects to sound informed in a debate but isn't really all that clued up

Man, don't you find people like that really annoying.

Shawn Michaels, who was made top guy while Bret Hart was off for most of 1996 and failed to arrest the downward trend in all business metrics (out of the mouths of people who were working there), sat through the return of his rival and saw immediate upward spikes in gate receipts and ratings (again, out of the mouths of people who were working there, as well as Meltzer/Keller etc who have the numbers)

I always thought based on Meltz that houses were getting better under Shawn than they were under Nash but TV ratings were way down, although Nitro might be a factor there.

I'm glad Fanny Pack was backstage at Wembley to let us all know what did or did not happen with such certainty.

Mate you want to check out the photos of them from the event on IG

The Getaway: I'm not sure why I got really curious about trying this again, I don't remember liking it much at the time. I don't know if it was because the PS2 was struggling to run it or if it's because I'm running the game at twice the framerate but it no longer feels like you're doing everything in slow motion now, especially driving. It's still a mediocre game and little fun to play though, it's funny looking back that regenerating health actually caught on after seeming very alien in this. Very impressive technically for its time, it was cool to fuck around with it a bit in 2023 but I'd have to be very, very bored to come back to this.

I really need to go back and replay this because I loved it at the time. The driving was awkward, so as an open world London it wasn't much fun, but the story and non driving story levels (which I remember being most) I thought were great. I loved the slower pace and more grounded style than the GTA offerings at the time.

    Hated the second one though.
