  1. Killers of the Flower Moon.Ā Look, we all know what weā€™re getting with Marty these days. The craft is impeccable, the stories are unbelievable and the acting is top tier. What I struggled with with this was how difficult it was to see these utter evil cretins getting away with literal murder for so long and having to spend so much time in the company of irredeemable men. Unlike Wolf of Wall Street or Goodfellas thereā€™s no lightness and the characters donā€™t have the charisma of a mobster or a good time shyster, theyā€™re just terrible cunts. Luckily Leonardo Di Caprio is about one of the few Hollywood actors who can carry a character like Ernest Burkhat, a feeble simpleton. Unluckily it feels like the excellent Lily Gladstone should have been front and centre here and the perspective of the natives should have been a bigger part of the story. Itā€™s a big story and he clearly wants the light shining on the overlooked villainy but I just wish it wasnā€™t so focused on their point of view.

  2. That Sandler basketball film on Netflix wasnā€™t too bad. Itā€™s no classic but it doesnā€™t have funny wigs and Rob Schneider so itā€™s halfway to decent Sandler. Not as good as the cast and cameos merit though and behind Happy Gilmore on the pantheon of great Sandler sports films.Ā

I've found decaf to be perfect for when I want a coffee but don't want to be bouncing off the walls all night. So for me that's any time after noon.

Bouncing off the walls from a cup of coffee, ah I remember those days. A cup of coffee might as well be a glass of water to me now, unless itā€™s strong caffeinated filter coffee. I did cut down from 3 cans of Monster to 1 though so hopefully I can breakdown my caffeine tolerance again for one last ride of the rollercoaster.

Yeah, theyā€™re both awful which takes away their heat. Ā Legend was better at the heeling this week though.

Ā In the 90s they cycled out Gladiators that didnā€™t work and replaced them so I expect the same here.

Oh theyā€™ll be doing some cycles alright.

Iā€™ve just noticed that if you take the letters in ā€˜Legendā€™, remove some and replace them with others, itā€™s an anagram of Bellend šŸ¤”

He's easily the worst Gladiator, how he got on the show is beyond me.

Actually, the standard amongst the new Gladiators is rather poor.

But, I absolutely love this. Itā€™s really nice to hear itā€™s been a resounding hit, too. Saturday night TV has needed a show like this for years.

Itā€™s that Matt Does Fitness YouTuber. Heā€™s done a few with Eddie Hall where heā€™ll have to eat Eddieā€™s food for the day and heā€™ll be gagging at eating a full English with extra black pudding the big fanny.

  6. Yeah I reckon they werenā€™t too fussed on Judgement Day and saw Priest as the breakout but the group took off and Priest has kind of stagnated so theyā€™ll rinse as much out of the group as they can before changing it up. I can imagine at some point Priest will warm to R-Truth maybe and thatā€™ll be the catalyst.

  7. ā€œPunk, things will be different this time. Weā€™ll give you night one of the mania main event. Weā€™ll even put the strap on you thereā€

6 months later- Punk vs Damian Priest.

I had a theory that they were gonna count down to the last possible show Priest could cash in then have Balor cost him the cash in.Ā

As a completist I had to see Jersey Girl as a Kevin Smith film I hadn't seen and do you know what, it's not that bad. Ben Affleck is my spirit guide and I'll always have time for him in anything, the massive faced goon.

    Ā

Affleck single parenting a cute kid with a George Carlin dad and a Liv Tyler love interest is a cracking set up for a film. Itā€™s the rest around it that drags it down. For what it is itā€™s a fine film and was a bit of a comfort watch for a while a good few years back.

Wait, the dad character is Unicorse, right? I'm not misunderstanding it or it's not some sort of Tyler Durden gimmick?

    I am Bandits medulla oblongata.

He obviously just comfort eats a lot because his daughter is a fucking nightmare.

Oh yeah his daughter is a little turd but thatā€™s because she has parents who enable her instead of teaching her valuable life lessons through creative play.

Fair enough, did seem a bit odd that the Dad was spoiling the end of a book for his child.....

    Dad wasnā€™tā€¦..

Thereā€™s none of that passive aggressive bollocks in Bluey. Bandit is the best of us, relatable, fallible, always means well and doing his best. Itā€™s Daddy Pig who is the passive aggressive cartoon dad. The fat lazy cunt.

  13. I was pallbearer (ooooohh yeeeesss!) at my nans funeral last year and as usual at family events itā€™s a battle between the cousins to make the others laugh in front of everyone. I got my cousin this time when I remarked that this was my second set of deadlifts after a morning gym session earlier that day.

  14. For my older brother I wanted them to play the Terminator 2 music as his coffin went in to the incinerator as it was a favourite song of his to play on his keyboard, itā€™s fucking funny and heā€™d have loved it but I was heavily outvoted in favour of some shitty YouTube sad song about heaven that he would have hated. I maintain I was right.

The most famous women in the world seem to like him, a lot, for a short time at least. He gets points for pissing off racist era Kanye so badly, too.

Iā€™m a bit obsessed with the dumpster fire of Kanye West. Itā€™s as tragic as it is funny. As is the Charlemagne interview where he talks about Kanye ringing him distraught about Pete Davisons big white willy.
