Canā€™t say I agree with that assessment, heā€™s an excellent promo, and with that in mind Iā€™d certainly class him as a missed opportunity, albeit not one that will hurt AEW in any way. Unless he and Sky actively hate one another, Iā€™m amazed they didnā€™t bring back Men of the Year to bolster the tag division.Ā

Perhaps, but given his friendship with Cody, I wonder if WWE might take a shot at making something of him. I donā€™t see him winning world titles, but I think he has what it takes to be a valuable upper card wrestler for them.

While youā€™re almost certainly right about this heading towards Blood and Guts, I hope they resist that temptation and do something different. With one obvious exceptions (the Royal Rumble) Iā€™m not a huge fan of an annual match, and I think a 5 vs 5 match is a less interesting step to take in this story than some of the other options.Ā

Having Hangman return and not immediately continue his obsession with Swerve also wouldnā€™t feel quite right, so I really hope that isnā€™t forgotten about. I guess you could have Swerve team with Kenny, causing the Bucks to draft in Hangman as their secret weapon.Ā

Thatā€™s what Iā€™m hoping for. Then have Ospreay helping them out be the catalyst for The Calis family turning on him.

  2. I know itā€™s likely that Hangman comes back to save the day and team with Kenny but I think it would be a massive shame to waste all that great work they did on turning him in to a believable heel. I also donā€™t like to see the Bucks as the main big bad and a moustachioed shit bag Hangman repositioning himself with the EVPā€™s could lead to a great Stone Cold Swerve Strickland vs evil overlords angle.Ā

  3. Since television began hasnā€™t there always been people crying hysterically about what you can and canā€™t do on it and hasnā€™t the best stuff always risen above criticism and found a way through? Itā€™s disappointing that the least edgy comedian of all time has taken the typical stance that old comedians take but itā€™s not too surprising. I doubt he even believes it. Heā€™s just starred in the finale of Curb Your Enthusiasm for fucks sake. Hardly a show that shied away from controversial topics yet still found a way to make them funny without punching down.

  4. Iā€™ve been on a bit of a hot streak betting on American sports this last week or so. Iā€™ve no knowledge on the teams but with there only being two outcomes to any game itā€™s a bit easier to play the odds. As it is Iā€™ve picked up a passing interest in baseball. I Ā like that thereā€™s a tactical aspect of it thatā€™s quite easy to understand and that itā€™s rounders (literally) on steroids Ā I donā€™t think I could be arsed sitting through a whole game with all those fucking breaks though.

I quite like that thereā€™s sports that I can enjoy without having an affiliation to any one side but when the thrill of chasing dozens of pounds wears off Iā€™ll probably need a bit more to keep me interested. So whoā€™s a good team with a storied history of success whose fans think they deserve to win everything but rarely do that I can get behind? Who are the Liverpool of Baseball if I were to try and get behind a team? I know thereā€™s a natural link with the Red Sox but who else?

But in answer to the question, we all get a choice of whichever one you want. However, your gaming choices will be monitored and all the Japan nonces with their knicker sniffing simulators will be added to the register.Ā

It just felt so on brand for Lokiā€¦.

Maybe you can make it compulsory that anyone who wishes to partake in the console scheme has to play Disco Elysium and then you can root out the wrongunā€™s on play style.

Does the draft actually still pop a rating?Ā

    Ā

If it does thatā€™ll be the last time. Only way back from this is to bring back Bischoffs wheel of fortune on the next Raw.

  7. Wrestling can be stupid as long as itā€™s fun. That draft was just stupid. Why didnā€™t anyone pick Roman or Punk? Was that explained? The draft aspect should just be NXT guys getting call ups and the rest should be trades. I prefer the idea of a transfer window though. Give me Brutus Magnus hanging out his car window on deadline day talking about how heā€™s happy with the business done but if Bubba Ray spots any gaps in the market theyā€™ll do business whilst Pat Mcafee bangs a gong and jizzes all over the announcers desk every time a jobber moves brands in a short term loan. Bonus points if a whacky member of the WWE Universe sneaks one of those wrestling dildos in to shot.

  8. Using rape and sex abuse to prove that your brand of fake fighting is better than another brand of fake fighting is fucking pathetic. Doing that whilst your brand of fake fighting employs plenty of dodgy fuckers too is outright weird behaviour. Gimps.

ā€œWeā€™re the Pepsi of wrestling and theyā€™re the Weinsteinā€.

    Why didnā€™t he say coke? ā€œ2 Stellaā€™s and a Pepsi pleaseā€. ā€œSorry, we donā€™t have Pepsi, is a Harvey Weinstein ok?ā€

Oh you know Kieth, you know.

Hey you never know, maybe that bald Dutch man will keep him around for "hair vibes"

Urgh, Iā€™m not sold on bald Dutch managers. I wanted Ange on the basis that you are never gonna replace Klopp so might as well have a laugh in the interim and he at least has the cult of personality thing going for him.
