Great way to end it. I’ve probably never not enjoyed an episode of Curb. There were some really strong series around the middle of the run but I don’t think the show ever dipped below 8/10. My favourite moment is probably Larry killing it in The Producers and getting a rare win. Really missed Marty Funkhauser in those last few.

I did used to enjoy the Evertonian’s gloating about how they’re gonna throw the games against City to spite Liverpool. I’m sure City were grateful of the help in overcoming the mighty Everton.

Yeah it’s a point I considered when I first started seeing straight blokes using He/Him pronouns in their Twitter bio’s but then I saw top red and Flanno regular Rahul Kohli explain that he does it as a show of support and to normalize it and I did indeed think of the children. The good thing about being a shallow flippant centrist dad is that you’re always open to new views and outlooks.

A few of the old boys in work have those really basic burner phones encased in titanium so they never get broken. They’re also the only one with cash on hand whenever there’s a collection for a colleague. 
 

My phone packed in not long ago and if it wasn’t for the fact I need my phone form banking, reward points, ripping the old guys with burner phones in the workplace WhatsApp group, gym entry and video calling the kids I would have happily downgraded to a flip phone.

People who tell you they’re an ally. It’s a show don’t tell scenario for me. I felt the same when some blokes were calling themselves feminists all the time. Although that had the added ick of feeling like fellas were co-opting something that they perhaps should not have been. I wish people could be an ‘ally’ without using the term ‘ally’.  I also think that for as much as I personally enjoy telling people they’re wrong for liking things nobody should actually listen to somebody telling them what to and not to like. I can never really get past people using their electronic devices that were manufactured under slave like conditions to tell people not to consume things on principle but everyone has their lines and you can’t fight every battle.

Bayern are fucking dirge. They dropped a 2-0 lead on the weekend to lose. They lost at home to a fairly decent but not spectacular Dortmund side the week before and they’ve cost me loads of money this season! They have a cracking blend of players for now and the future and should be a lot better than they are. Tommy Tickle is a fraud. Still put Kane to score on the bet builder mind.

I want to see Jimmy taking on the role as temporary shit head leader of The Bloodline. Have him running amok until Roman comes back with a couple of young studs from the Islands. The Bloodline probably won’t be a thing by the next Mania anyway, I reckon there’ll be a Shield reunion minus Ambrose before then.

Seth better turn heel. They’ve kayfabe made him look an absolute tit this whole mania. He’s eaten so much shit on the mic, when the top lads actually bothered to acknowledge his presence. He sacrificed his condition to help Cody and ended up losing his belt. Even after that he still took a Superman punch trying to help Cody. Well yeah, she’s not Morgan Freeman. Most people would have to put a voice on to sound more epic. It’s part of her job!

She’s a ring announcer that’s made herself relevant and trend worthy and people can’t decide whether what she’s doing is fake or not. Love her or hate her you can’t deny that she’s great at her pro wrestling job. 

Old Man Rock morphing in to the authority figure vs Old Man Rascal Austin is the feud I never knew I wanted rekindling but now I NEED it!

Wish they’d managed to get Stone Cold instead of Old Man Cracker but otherwise a great crowning. Also love that I get to show my little lad his idol IShowSpeed getting it. If he was upset at Sting getting his then he’ll be inconsolable after seeing what happened to that dufus.

We won't agree, and I'll always think it's pathetic to have a "just can't lose this" mentality (I'd accept it if you had half the team unavailable) and that's not me being anti Arsenal, it's just a philosophy I'll never understand or enjoy. But there we go.

 

When was the last time City were steamrolled? Arsenal are good but let’s not get carried away. They’ve spent big and they’ve spent well but teams don’t steamroller City.

I won’t hear a bad word said against that Arsenal performance. Any team that takes points off our title rivals are fine by me.
