CJ7 (Chinese:Chang Jiang qi hao) is an upcoming 2008 science fiction/comedy film written, produced and directed by Stephen Chow, who also stars in the film.Chow plays a man who lives in a partly demolished house. He takes in a homeless boy (who is actually played by a girl, Xu Jiao). Whether the semi-demolished house and the homeless boy are on Earth, or on the alien planet is not clear. As Chow's character can't afford to buy a toy for the child, he finds a makeshift toy in the garbage and brings it back to his "son". Kung Fu Dunk

 

Jay Chou plays an orphan raised in a kung fu school, but kicked out by the corrupt headmaster after fighting with a bunch of thugs in the employ of a nefarious villain. He happens upon down-on-his-luck trickster Eric Tsang, who immediately sees cash potential in the youngster's skills. Basketball is the chosen avenue for riches, and Tsang bids to get him a spot on a University team and to promote him in the media. General success leads to a basketball championship and a really nasty rival team managed by the same nefarious villain of before.

 

Looking for to this, im a fan of Jay Chou and Charlene Choi who both star in this movie and its based on the Japanese manga Slam dunk i believe.

Im looking foward to all the asian film releases this year as im a huge asian cinema fan.

The Grand is an upcoming improv comedy film written and directed by Zak Penn. The film has an ensemble cast including Ray Romano, Woody Harrelson, Chris Parnell, Werner Herzog, Jason Alexander, and Cheryl Hines.[1]The film's style is similar to the films of Christopher Guest (Penn himself states this[2]), where each actor is given direction concerning their character, and the actors are left to improvise each individual scene. The plot of The Grand was somewhat more open-ended than Guest's work, however.
