Paid Members John Matrix Posted January 13, 2007 Paid Members Share Posted January 13, 2007 My vote went to Supremo. Theres some great nominees in the running this year, but i can honestly say that when i visit the forum, i nearly always visit a topic where i can see that he's started or posted last in, such is how interesting i find his contributions. Sym
As an off topic poster for most of the year I think JLM should get this award! He has the right mix of sense of humour, know how, knowlege and helpfullness that make a good off topic poster so he gets my vote!
D R
I'll vote for PUNQ, should he ever be nominated.
Paid Members JLM Posted January 14, 2007 Paid Members Share Posted January 14, 2007 I put a mention in for PUNQ and a number of others, but there were too many strong candidates.
ukedge87
As an off-topic poster (mostly) it was a toss-up between Lantern and Mr. Seven. Both usually make really good posts and have great points / arguments. However, I think it was just the better attitude of Lantern that swayed it for me. Hurrikane
The main forum was subdued for most of the year and even up until October, nobody really stood as poster of the year. However, like last year, I've gone with Supremo. It was a travesty that he didn't win last year and his contributions have been great this year. If we had second and third votes, mine would have gone to Moj and Rick. Moj didn't post all that regularly, but when he did, his contributions were invariably fantastic. Rick did a great job of drumming up discussion and brought a great debating style to his posts. It's interesting how the winner from the last two years didn't even receive enough nominations to be shortlisted. John didn't really post less than he's done in previous years, and I didn't think what he posted was of an inferior quality to his contributions from past years. Either this so-called 'Lister backlash' has substance to it or he was overseen because he's just taken for granted. Not being an arse kisser or anything but I think you can include yourself in the taken for granted category.
