Guest Dangerous Dave Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 And if they did, I'd change the name of the business, so what would they gain? The point is you can't call yourself " Ltd " or a " Company " unless you are a registered Limited Company .
Guest the_uk_fan Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 Will people stop using terms like "business" "company" and the like. What Kriss is running isn't a "Business" and it isn't a "company".
Kandiman Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 Phone one of the WWE's venues on the next tour. Ask them who booked it. They won't tell you. I can assure you it's common practice for venues not to do so, certainly in my experience. Which of course is very vast. Agreed, they probably wouldn't tell you, but they would confirm if the venue was booked. That's the nature of googlemail. When you search for old e-mails, they always show the first in that 'conversation' - so If I sent the first e-mail, that's what it shows. I invite you to set up a googlemail account and try it for yourself. It doesn't matter whether it's the nature of google, it still doesn't actually show what you're tryig to show. As for Len and Alex saying they had no dealings wih me, that's like saying Eminem never had dealings with Reg Dwight, but he did with Elton John. It's splitting hairs. It's totally different because people know who Reg Dwight is. Just because you proved you had spoken to them, does not mean they had knowledge of it. Yes, your reasons make sense, but deception is still deception, especially when it done because you left people out of pocket in the past. When a rogue trader changes names because everyone found out he ripped people off, does it make it right because he only did it since he knew no one would give him a chance if they knew? I didn't do it because I'd left people out of pocket in the past. I genuinely wasn't aware people were still waiting on money. I did it because of the image of me that the internet fans have created for me, which couldn't be farther from the truth. You did though. Your reputation not just on the internet, but in the lockeroom is a bad one, for reasons including not paying people, and not being able to run a show properly. Whether or not you knew until recently people were still waiting for payment, doesn't matter. The point is, they still left the venue that night without the money they should have, therefore your reputation was bad. You knew this and this is why you intentionally covered up your identity. Nope, you're fishing. I've explained my full reasoning. I could name other promoters who have been in this business far longer than I have that don't pay their workers and still get away with booking people. I'm making the effort to get everybody paid. You still haven't answered my question about learning from mistakes. Were you miraculously a driver of the year candidate after your first lesson?
Paid Members DJ Kris Posted January 11, 2007 Paid Members Posted January 11, 2007 Success of a show is defined by what you hoped to gain from them. All I asked with the first three shows was that they happened. As far as I'm concerned, that was an achievement in itself, and a great learning experience. You're deluded. If it was a learning experience you'd have learned not to do it again. You didn't pay, people, you didn't make money, you didn't draw fans. That is failure on every level. The show actually taking place in no way signifies success. I'm not still trying to do it. I said I was going to reschedule the show. Not for the same venue. Perhaps I made the wrong choice of lexis. I should have said 'relocate' - my bad. But you are, since you said all that, the show details have come out, the website is promoting it, your forum is discussing it and you yourself have said you still consider Iceman and Darren Burridge to be booked for the show. If you are not running it, why is all this stuff still floating about? Why would I have learned not to run a show again? Everyone was paid on the night on the first and third shows. The second show I'm in the process of paying those who have come forward as not being paid not, which as far as I know at this time is ONE person. Te purpose of mistakes is to learn from them. Why learn to do something right, then not do it? Did you learn how to drive and never get behind the wheel of a car again? I mean, I assume that you didn't know how already on your first driving lesson. You haven't learned, because you haven't run a sucessful show. Once you've done that, then you've learned something, but that doesn't mean the next step is a big venue. The thing is, you are unreliable and untrust worthy, you are someone that this business does not need nor want.

Moderators Astro Hollywood Posted January 11, 2007 Moderators Posted January 11, 2007 (edited) While you're here, I'd be really interested in a reply to some points I raised a couple of days ago, seeing as you didn't appear on that radio show: Anyway, enough talk about the past and present. Time to get positive and look to the future. I know many of you have scoffed at the idea that I’m going to be making movies. I do have a screenplay in the works that myself and my writing partner Rotimi are working on a deal to sell to Mindseye Pictures, a small independent production company in Los Angeles. This isn’t going to be a big-budget project starring Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman being shot on location on the Caicos Islands, it’s a small project which will probably go straight to video. Well, actually, it’ll probably go straight to DVD, because I can’t see the old-fashioned VHS tape being around much longer. I’ve also agreed a deal to shoot two short British comedy films. I’ll be directing & producing the hotel-based comedy “4 Stars… or 3?” in association with Ramshackle Films based on an incredible script written by a talented writer named Paul Nash and I’ll also be director-producer on Ana Torres-Smith’s “Desperate & Dateless” for The Ale & Quail Club Films. So what happened to all this? Did you direct these movies? IMDB.com has no information about the two mentioned above, although I'm sure that's because those are only the working titles. Did you sell the screenplay you wrote to Mindseye Pictures? Did it get produced? Or was it all A MASSIVE PACK OF DELUDED LIES?Seriously, out of everything you've ever said, this bunch of INSANITY right here is the most infuriating and out and out STUPID. You just reeled off a huge list of not-even-barely-believable lies there, clearly, pretending to be a movie producer, director and screenwriter. So, an explanation would be interesting, to say the least, or an admission of being a massive liar.Top part Sprules, bottom part me. Edited January 11, 2007 by Sickboy

Yet I have a business plan and a business partner and it will be registered as a taxable business as soon as possible. Success of a show is defined by what you hoped to gain from them. I also said that they'd told me they were happy to work for me in future. What show is irrelevant. And I've explained that my first choice was never to run the dome. And my plan now is not to run the dome. It was something I looked into and seemed viable, so that's what we worked towards. It's only since I put out the press release that anyone tol me otherwise. You can call me unreliable and untrustworthy all you like, but I went to the effort to chenge my ways, to make sure things were done properly and change that. People took it upon themselves to try and undo that work even before they knew it was me.

As for other promoters, there is a difference between someone arranging to work for nothing (for whatever reason) and someone not getting paid, but expecting to be. If something went wrong, they probably would get the benefit of the doubt, assuming they already had a good reputation and a previous track record with the people concerned, that's just the way it is, but I doubt that happens consistantly and even if it does, that takes nothing away from you.

Some friendly advice - I believe it is a criminal offence for a business to trade as a Limited Company if it is not actually one.JE

freaky Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 Kriss, some honest advice for you here.Spend time with your girlfriend and child, and forget about trying to get into the wrestling business. It seems like your reputation will precede you, or will come back to bite you, as it has here.Instead, be a fan. It's a lot easier, a lot more fun and a million times less stressful.I'm not sure if you're working at the moment, but if you are, stick with that and make a career for yourself outside of wrestling. If you're not working, the best thing would be to get a full-time job and care for your offspring. No insults here, no witch-hunt either. Just a plea for you to get out of a business which is harsh at best, and at worst, can be downright soul-crushing.
