alexander
I am surprised, nay shocked to hear that Hero has been asked back to NOAH. Every match he wrestled on his first tour was met with a kind of appalled silence form the Japanese fans. I guess NOAH must take this relationship with RIng Of Honour pretty seriously...Great to see Claudio over though, and I imagine he'll do well. The Cum Doctor
I can see The Briscoes nabbing the GHC Jr. Tag Titles on this tour.
Space Flying Tiger Drop
I think KENTA/Ishimori will get them first, they deserve them a lot more too.
LazyMcLopez
I haven't really been keeping up- would Daniels or Low Ki be possibilities for AOTF? Ki is supposedly done with TNA again and Daniels is meant to be working indies to sell the whole firing angle...
The Cum Doctor
I don't think ROH would be wanting to bring Daniels in on a temp basis to join the AOTF.I'm also unsure if Low Ki would fit into the AOTF in any way.
Paid Members gadge Posted January 23, 2008 Paid Members Share Posted January 23, 2008 I think Daniels would be great, actually. It fits the TNA Daniels is fired storyline, the ROH Daniels quitting storyline, and as non-PPV shows it should be politically possible. I don't think Gabe will book Low Ki ever again. Pete Scott
I think Daniels or Ki would pull focus from Jacobs too much, they're both bigger "stars" than he is and might lessen his position as focal point of the group, as such I don't see either of them being the mystery man. Paid Members Dearly Devoted Dexter Posted January 24, 2008 Paid Members Share Posted January 24, 2008 The Battle of St Paul Review - 27/4/2007 Â Â Rhett Titus vs. Michael Elgin - Elgin looks like a cross between Rhyno and Mantaur, while Titus has a Rick Martel gimmick going on, and seems to have borrowed Takeshi Morishima

Jun Kasai
January 24th: There will be an announcement this Saturday in Chicago about a new Japanese wrestler set to debut in ROH. We'll give you a hint. He's not from NOAH or Dragon Gate.If it's any one of these I'l be incredibly happy, Kondo, Kensuke or Kota. Space Flying Tiger Drop
I can only dream that it's Kota Ibushi!

Kota would get over in ROH well, but although as his matches in the GTV cup got some US hype, I odn't think he warrants a big announcement. Kensuke coming in would be given more hype, surely? Daaaaaad!
I wracked my brains for this one and the only name I could come up with that hadn't already been mentioned was Yoshihiro Tajiri.EDIT: Obviously not the ONLY name, but the only one I'd be interested in seeing. alexander
Actually, that's not a bad guess. Not sure how hard he'd work if they did bring him in, but he still has a fair bit of name value to the ROH audience.
