Any info on Scott Casey who was in the 2nd annual Survivor Series? What happened to him? Was he a replacement for someone else?

He replaced Brian Blair, who was a replacement for JYD, after they both left the WWF.
Casey was something of a star in Texas (the San Antonio office in particular, IIRC), and I even think he had a spell over here in the early 80s (I seem to recall him on WoS at least once)...

Kane vs Taker at the PPV... Vader involvement... ended with Kane's arm on fire...Kane vs Taker on Raw... ended with a missed big boot out on the floor... Kane's foot/leg on fire...Kane vs HHH on Raw... McMahon was putting Trips against various peeps in their specialty matches (even though Kane had lost all of the previous ones)... was part of the series where Taker quit rather than following McMahon's orders... so I'm guessing very late 98? Before his Ministry return? Though I thought it was quite a bit later... Don't think I actually saw this Inferno match... and may not have even been HHH...

I think it was in late-ish 1999. Vince had won the belt off HHH on some smackdown, and, as Vince was feuding with DX at the time. HHH wanted a title shot, so Vince said that he could get one if he won 3 out of 5 matches against his opponents in their "specialist" matches. So we had:HHH Vs Rock in a samoan strap matchHHH Vs Big Show in a choke slam challenge.HHH Vs Kane in an inferno match.HHH Vs Undetaker in a casket match (Mideon and Viscera actually took takers place)And on the 5th one, I can't remember his opponent, can anyone fill me in??

Ah yes, the time HHH, after four years in the company not really going anywhere or getting over, suddenly got to pin the Rock in a strap match, main event SummerSlam (and be protected from losing), pin Mankind for the world title, lose by a fluke to Vince, survive a series of five matches in one night vs people in their favoured stips, win a six-way match by pinning the Rock to regain the title, pin Steve Austin, lose the belt to Big Show with the excuse that he was a surprise replacement, ruin Test's wedding by stealing his wife, pin Vince after stealing his daugher, regain the world title, pin Mick Foley in a street fight, pin Mick Foley in Hell in a Cell to retire him, pin the undefeated WCW champion Chris Benoit on their first meeting, and become the first heel to ever win the main event of WrestleMania, at the end of which he was over big time.Still, as he says, success is down to how hard you work - pushes don't come into it.

Erm...I think he was making the point that Triple H believe his success is down to hard work and not his monster push, not that he himself feels that way.Sounds to me like you were trying to be clever for the sake of clever....;)
