Did the Bulldog - Berzerker match actually take place at Wrestlemania 8? If it didn't why didn't it happen?

IIRC the match is advertised on the box of the VHS release. It didn't go ahead, shelved due to time restrictions (it wasn't even the dark match, that honour going to Beverley Brothers v Bushwhackers)...
Apparently, the reason it was shelved was because the Hart/Piper and Savage/Flair matches overran. In hindsight, I'm glad they did.

Does anyone one know the websites of Scottish wrestlers: Cage Tyler, Drew Galloway and Jay Phoenix

Machete is just a local talent they fast tracked in because Apollo got some heat backstage.IIRC he trained at Orlando's FXE wrestling academy. I think before the 'machete' monikor he worked in and around the Florida area as Rick Vega.

Konnan said on WOL a couple of weeks ago that they were trying to get Low Ki into TNA to be part of LAX. Given that Machete was pretty awful on the PPV, I guess they need him even more now.

TNA PPV's used to have Jeremy Borash announce the competitors for the World Title match inring(after enterances) like in boxing. I missed several PPV's, then saw Bound For Glory and Genesis which had a 6-man tag, and a 'quicky' title match with no proper entrances. Do TNA still do this? It was a great build up. I noticed Penzer was announcing on Against All Odds last night, he was good, although if they skipped this practice for the main event I'll be pissed(I was too tired to watch). Cheers!

Does anyone know of any promotions that have promoted, regularly promote or are going to promote shows in Cumbria? More specifically the Lake District. Also, does anyone know the results/attendance of All Star Wrestling's Skegness show tonight?

Why is it that everyone wa sso offended when The Sandman got crucified that time, but when Undertaker puts people on his symbol thing it looks exactly the same and nobody minds?

People did mind. But what made it a bigger deal in ECW was because Heyman made Raven go out afterwards and apologise out of character to the fans (because Heyman was courting Kurt Angle's services, and Angle was horrified).Vince, as usual, didn't give a shit.
Keep in mind aswell that Angle wasn't the only person pissed off - some of the wrestlings, including Shane Douglas were highly pissed. The crowd was livid too - after all, they were staging this angle infront of a crowd of largely Catholics of Italian origin.

The AAO main event was announced that way, by Borash. I know they've been looking for another ring announcer to allow Borash to take Shane Douglas' backstage interviewer, which he did for most of the ppv, with Penzer doing the announcing. However, Penzer was nowhere to be seen around ringside throughout the whole event, as far as I could tell. He certainly never set foot in the ring, and, when Konnan was handed a mic in-ring, it was by one of the ring girls. What with Borash doing the main event, my question is this - was Penzer actually in attendance at the ppv, or were his announcements pre-tapes?

what was the theme song to this year No Way Out

I know for sure it was by the fabulous Theory of a Deadman, and, seeing as there's a track on their new album (which one day might get a UK release...) called No Way Out, I'm guessing it's that. And GIB, it's Peter Gabriel.

Thanks for the update. Funny you should mention about Penzer not being there - I thought when introducing Daniels he was a little early, he was barely through the 'curtain' and he'd finished announcing him. I also thought they'd mention it/show him during the event at some point.

I think this has now surpassed the word thread, which had about 140 pages and was the longest ukff thread ever for a while.
