bwo Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 (edited) Did they actually see any WWE wrestlers?yeah that was one of my questions in the tna 'invasion' vid u see a wwe wrestler in full royal rumble add costume giving the 3 live krew hand signal, problem is the faces r covered up for legal reasons i guess, they also take the piss out of a backstage interviewer but i have no idea who it is ( my guess is grisham or mathews ) Look at the height of the guy. It is obviously Rey Misterio. Also dont forget that Misterio and Konnan have known each other for years, which is probably the only reason he was the only WWF guy to come out. Van_Dammer Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 Oh, right... Thanks for that. I'm surprised that they weren't 'escorted' out... Besides, all that seems a bit anti-climatic - given the way in which it was built up.
Paid Members DEF Posted September 21, 2005 Paid Members Posted September 21, 2005 Could ECW workers also work indie dates like TNA wrestlers do now?
Larryboy Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 They did do during ECW's first few years because ECW didn't work often enough for them to make a living from them. I'd guess after they started on ppv htye were running a full time schedule.

JPC Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 Can anyone post some links to information and news reports on the DVD sales for The Rise and Fall of ECW. I need as much information as possible from as many various sites as possible. Also any links to a transcript of the audio interview with Paul Heyman on Byte This in which he says how they stopped giving him the DVD sales numbers when they got close to 100,000.CheersChiddy
CracktonMoj Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 Transferred this to DVD at the weekend, so I had a look. Her name is Kazumi Murata. From what I can tell, she's a model / actress / soft porn star.I watched 5th Anniversary last night as well. There's a tag match with the ungimmicked Florida Brothers on opposing sides
Spatular Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 Transferred this to DVD at the weekend, so I had a look. Her name is Kazumi Murata. There's a tag match with the ungimmicked Florida Brothers on opposing sides Yeah - at that point Raimu 'Danny' Mishima was the weakest link in Shin M2K. They kicked him out a couple of months later for being crap. Takamichi 'Michael' Iwasa recruited him into his proposed unit, Iwasa Gundam. Iwasa was given a 15-match trial series - if he won any one of them, the unit would be recognized, but he lost all of them via camel clutch, so they went to the USA for warrior training and the rest is history. The trial match against Stalker was hilarious. Mishima threw in the towel by mistake...
Van_Dammer Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 When did the cage match between Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels take place?
dopper Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 Anybody have a transcript (or even better, a video clip) of Stephanie McMahon and Bradshaw's comments on the post 9/11 Smackdown?I heard most wrestler comments were appropriate but those two just talked shite.
Van_Dammer Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 Why did WWE create such a negative DVD on The Ultimate Warrior? Why are the adamant on making a renowned/classic superstar look so bad?
Larryboy Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 Because he's repeatedly pissed Vince off.
Van_Dammer Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 Because he's repeatedly pissed Vince off. I've only heard of one incident; can you elaborate, please? I just can't see why they would go to such great lengths to do something of this nature...
