britboy93
17 Years on the first ever pro wrestling PPV in Scotland took place at the SECC Glasgow, also known as the PPV that Scotland forgot, i don't blame us, the PPV was awful, great card and wrestlers but the the show felt rushed and flung together. One thing I will say, the only thing that stood out about this PPV was the giant Castle Titantron with a knight that was well ahead of it's time for 2002.    BACKSTAGE: WWA CEO Andrew McManus & Commissioner Mike Sanders.. McManus said that tonight was going to be a very special night..  OPENING MATCH: Shark Boy defeated Frankie Karazian..  BACKSTAGE: Midejah & Teo & Puppet.. Teo & Puppet arguing who should be accompanied by Midejah.. Mike Sanders enters and says Midejah will be the referee for the midget's match..  MATCH: Konnan pinned Nate Webb..  MATCH: Buff Bagwell & Johnny Swinger defeated Norman Smiley Smiley & Malice..  MATCH: Mike Sanders over Joe E. Legend..  HARDCORE MIDGET MATCH: Teo pinned Puppet with Midajah as the ref...  NWA WORLD TITLE MATCH: Jeff Jarrett pinned Nathan Jones after a guitar shot to retain..  WWA WORLD TITLE MATCH: Lex Luger defeated Sting to win the VACANT title..  TRIPLE THREAT MATCH: Sabu defeated Simon Diamond & Perry Saturn.. They set up a table, which broke under the weight of the lying Simon Diamond.. They put Diamond on an UNGIMMICKED table and Perry Saturn jumped on him.. Simon sold it with an injured after the match.. Paid Members bAzTNM#1 Posted March 19, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted March 19, 2019 I remember ordering this show and the VHS still hasn't arrived. I still hold out hope than this PPV lands on my mat one day. ADDED: I thought Nathan Jones would be the next star as well.
Bohan
Am I the only one that was a fan of Mike Sanders? Got a kick out of his late WCW run, remember him being a bit limited in the ring but highly entertaining in everything else he did - am I remembering this right or was the lad just shite? Joe E Legend was another that I enjoyed in the same vein, always entertaining during his days on the Britwres circuit.

Joe E Legend was the opponent in the only Doug William's match that I saw in the FWA days that I didn't enjoy. It was a bonus match at Broxbourne that gold ticket holders got to see before the show. The people who paid less were the lucky ones.
