I’m finally into these Andy Geer interviews. Really enjoying them. I’m fairly early into the second part now, great to hear him talk so glowingly about Stephen Quadros and Wanderlei Silva. You hear mixed stuff about Wandy, especially from around that time when he would’ve been at his peak, so it’s good to hear someone speak positively about him. Him describing Wand wearing a full length white fur coat and sunglasses and going clubbing gave me a chuckle. Imagine seeing prime Wandy like that?

I liked Quadros.

I recall he disliked Rogan's commentary at one point. Some scamp even started a fake rumour that Quadros beat Rogan up in a nightclub.

Met Quadros once at a Cage Rage afterparty, seemed a lovely fella. Sadly absent from the modern game.

How many Cage Rage shows did you attend?

And how did you get into one of their afterparties?

Only 2. Cage Rage 22 & 23. 

Both were at Wembley Arena, we just followed crowds and ended up in the fighter hotel, the afterparty was in the lobby. I was people spotting all night. Great memories. Ian Freeman almost lamped my mate Steve though.

I've told this story on here before, but I will tell it again because it always makes me smile.

My friend/DVD supplier attended a Cage Warriors show around 2004/2005 time. Freeman was the MC. He bollocked the crowd  telling them to "shut up while I'm talking" and performed a unwanted stand-up comedy routine that died on its arse.
