The results went into the opening post on Monday night, and the updated table was uploaded here a few hours later. A low-scoring week with an average return of 6.5 points means an easy job for me and minimal movement, but some of it is significant. Sadly, with the player in second spot having had his D2D turn this time out, it's not the kind of movement some might have been hoping for. Instead, MVP RULZ extends his lead by 3 more points and we have a change of occupant of the wooden spoon place.

Bradyisgod22 wrongly bet on Fiorentina to win at the San Siro, and 17 of the remaining participants correctly disagreed with him, even if many of those did plump for a draw rather than the actual home win. He therefore narrowly missed being the lowest scorer and almost allowed TildeGuy, who was only one of two people into double figures in this round, to catch up with him. SNRN10 was the sole player with more than one exact score, and therefore moves above late picker TUFCfan and further away from the danger zone. Lowest scorer Prince Nana was overtaken by Zebra Kid Mark, but they're now separated by a solitary point.

Home victories for Bournemouth and Saints were about as fruitful as it got, as were triumphs on the road for Brighton and QPR in the second tier. The former were aided by their opponents having one eye on their big S4C live clash on Monday night, whilst the latter team had to prove they can cope admirably without the departed Charlie Austin, whom Southampton do not appear to need based on Saturday's evidence.

More difficult to guess beforehand were Liverpool's home reverse, a score draw at Villa, a stalemate at Stoke and a defeat for the Hammers. Juve gained revenge for a loss earlier in the season by ruining the housewarming for the redeveloped Udinese stadium, which led to an unexpectedly high margin of victory in Friuli.

As usual, another set of 10 will be up in a new thread shortly.
