The final scores went into the opening post on Sunday evening, whilst the table was worked out shortly afterwards, and uploaded just now. In a low-scoring week, the average haul was just 5.9 points. Nobody made it into double figures or got more than one three-pointer, which allows me to say for the first time this season that there was no significant movement, with zero change in the order of the top 7 and bottom 3. In fact, the gap among the latter even remained exactly the same as last time out.

The poor performances came despite the fact that almost everyone took advantage of Prince Nana's failure to back his D2D side. Only two of the other 19 participants agreed with his bet on a draw, so 17 players got bonuses even though some wrongly went for a home win. The Highland League outfit fell behind against last year's lowly Lowland League champions, but came back to make it through to round 3. Nana himself unsurprisingly ended up as the worst scorer for the round. Best of a bad bunch on 9 points this week was ultimo, and MVP RULZ increased his lead to 30 points as joint second highest scorer.

Most people didn't see a shock coming in the other Scottish Cup tie, but they were wrong. In its English equivalent, both games went to replays - one in far more exciting fashion than the other - leaving correct guessed hard to come by, and exact score picks completely absent. Elsewhere, two home victories by the same scoreline in Australia proved more fruitful for one-pointers, while back closer to home, narrow triumphs for Swansea and Leicester weren't too difficult to foresee, but a bore draw at Old Trafford caught everybody out.

Not sure how we managed to leave off the more exciting Tyne-Wear derby (perhaps it was originally set for Saturday lunchtime... anyone know?), which left us with a narrow success on the road for the Baggies in an early-season relegation battle, for which wagers beforehand were a mixed bag.

A new set of 10 will as usual be up in a new thread shortly.
