LSM Posted September 22, 2020 Share Posted September 22, 2020 An email update has just come out regarding the For Love of Wrestling convention, tickets and the rescheduled dates: Unfortunately, as you are aware that due to the current situation regarding the Coronavirus, For the Love of Wrestling has postponed their event which was due to take place on 18 & 19 April 2020 at Exhibition Centre Liverpool. ORIGINAL DATE: 18 & 19 APRIL 2020. NEW DATE: 15 & 16 MAY 2021. If you wish to attend the rescheduled date then you do not need to do anything as this will be automatically transferred. If you wish to have your tickets refunded please email us by 31 October 2020. Anyone who does not submit a refund request after 31 October 2020 will have their ticket automatically exchanged over to the new date. LSM Posted February 25, 2021 Share Posted February 25, 2021 Monopoly Events have posted the following in relation to the "For the Love of Wrestling" convention that was due to take place in May: IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT – FTLOW 2021 In light of recent events and the announcements made earlier this week, the decision has been made to postpone FTLOW to a later date. The current roadmap and restrictions would make it completely impossible to put on the event to the standards expected by both Monopoly Events and everyone who attends the weekend as guests and fans. We will be providing a further update on new dates, guests, refunds etc as soon as possible in order that everyone feels completely kept in the loop. We're sure that you are as disappointed as we are hearing this news but hope that everyone understands its being done for all the right reasons. LSM Posted March 26, 2021 Share Posted March 26, 2021 Update from Monopoly Events regarding the For the Love of Wrestling convention: 🔥IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 2 – FTLOW 🔥 Thank you for everyone's patience while we worked through all the details on the postponed event, it was paramount that we had all the right pieces in place before we gave the next update in order that you can all feel fully confident on all the dates and next steps. The new date will be the weekend of 23rd and 24th April 2022, the venue will once again be the fantastic Exhibition Centre Liverpool. We are still planning on having a wrestling show on the Friday night (22nd), more details on that in due course. We are hoping to transfer the entire line up of guests over to the new date, if for any reason anyone is unable to attend we will of course confirm this separately so you feel fully in the loop. Tickets will roll over to the new date, if for any reason we decide to issue new tickets we'll send them via email so in summary, you dont have to do anything if it changes we'll let you know. The refund window for anyone unable to make the new date will open up the first week of April, we'll make sure we put out a post on all our FTLOW channels on the day so you have complete clarity on the process. We're sure some of you are as disappointed as us that we've got to wait another year for the event to go ahead, however its 100% the right thing to do in order that we can put on an event to the standards Monopoly, its guests and you would like to see.
