The final scores went into the original post on Sunday night, with the table update following on Monday, although I acknowledge that that isn't much use without the link. In a very low-scoring round, stunstone maintains his lead of a dozen points, while at the other end a bad performance from niff sees her cast further adrift, but SNRN10 is making a late bid for the wooden spoon as he drew a blank this time out. Of the three joint highest scorers, the best-placed is Rory.

So why were points so hard to come by then? First, a surprising number of participants wrongly backed underdogs Rennes in the Coupe de la Ligue final, and at least one player thought the game would go to penalties, but it wasn't to be. Elsewhere the two German clashes produced outcomes that few people foresaw.

Closer to home, score draws at Anfield and The Hawthorns proved easier to guess (though in both cases it could be argued that the home side were a tad fortunate), while wins for Arsenal, Sunderland and West Ham all went with the form book, and so were useful for at least one-pointers for most. Spurs' comeback against City and the stalemate at the Liberty Stadium didn't yield so many points, however.
