We've got a proper glamour time against Albion Rovers on Saturday in the Ramsdens Cup. We've got a solid team so I'm going to assume we'll see them out pretty comfortably.

Then next Sunday ( eh? ) we have East Stirlingshire in the League Cup. A ground I've never been to, so I'm looking forward to that.

How restricted is the restricted view part of the away section at Celtic Park?

Only time I've been there I was down near the front at the unrestricted view part and the view was shite there also!

It's nowhere near worth the money they charge, that's for sure. Coupled with the fact that their stewards are pricks, I'd never pay money to go watch my team there.

David what chance do you think Motherwell have against Panathinaikos? Looking at the betting and Pana are 5/6 to win at Fir Park which I reckon is a massive price I'm thinking of lumping on.

I personally think we'll lose by two or three goals. We're not the team we were last season, and the loss of Jennings is huge for us. I don't know many Motherwell fans who see us getting anything from this game.

Consider this. It looks as though Randolph may be away shortly. McCall is looking at Colin Stewart of Morton as a replacement. It'll be between both him and Lee Hollis for the #1 spot. That's how far we've fallen.

That's good enough for me. Just took them at 10/11 on bet365. Hope Motherwell do well for the sake of the co-efficient but can't argue with a price like that.

Ahh well, I'm going down with my Dons supporting mate and a tim. It's gonna be hell. Gonna regret it I know!

Is that actually confirmed? We didn't want him here, and therefore he was frozen out and then not offered a new contract. Surely that can't be the guy coming in as a replacement.

My advice would be to ditch any colours if you're going there. Wearing away colours pretty much guarantees shit from stewards and being treated like a 2nd class citizen.

I wore colours last time and had no grief. I will wear colours again. I always do.

We can talk about lower-league Scottish football in here right?

I saw this on Twitter earlier....

RANGERS' players continued their summer programme this morning by taking to the brand new Ibrox pitch for the first time to train.

In sunny conditions at the stadium, the group warmed up on the magnificent surface then took part in three 30-minute matches while they remain unable to play pre-season friendlies.

In the first game, boss Ally McCoist picked two fairly evenly-matched sides containing both first-team regulars from last term and youth players.

Teenager Barrie McKay gave the team without bibs a lead before Kal Naismith struck twice in a couple of minutes to turn the contest on its head and give his group a 2-1 win.

In the second fixture, McCoist mixed the group up and introduced midfielder Andrew Murdoch for trialist Ian Black as he continues his comeback from a hernia operation.

The former Hearts player showed some nice touches while he was on the park and looked composed, with fellow ex-Jambo Craig Beattie also making a contribution.

With personnel changes made, the non-bibbed team was something close to the starting XI which will play Brechin on Sunday if a transfer of the old company's SFA membership is granted.

And it was no surprise the more experienced side won, with Alejandro Bedoya notching a double prior to McKay's second of the day in a 3-0 victory.

Manager McCoist was vocal throughout as he shouted instructions to his players from the Directors Box.

The final game of the day had less incidents to report as the two teams played out a 2-0 win for the bibbed side, with Kirk Broadfoot and Lee McCulloch scoring.

BIBS (first game): Gallacher; Cole, Goian, Hegarty, Wallace; Bedoya, Wiktorski, Hutton, Edu, Crawford; Naismith.

NON-BIBS (first game): Alexander; Broadfoot, Gasparotto, Bocanegra, Clarke; Mitchell, Black, Macleod; Beattie, McCulloch, McKay.

Come on you BIBS!

Jesus just let it go you sad bastard, what exactly do you expect Rangers to do? All you do is post about Rangers, even the Celtic fans are alright, you're just a sad prick
