Sorry for the delay in updating the table, but the results have been in the original post since Sunday night. Scoring was quite high this week, especially considering there were only 27 ordinary points on offer due to the worrying news of a ref's attempted suicide in Germany. There were bigger games in the Bundesliga last weekend, but I thought I'd share the matches out and try to get as many of its 18 clubs on the card at some point this season. Just picked the wrong fixture in the wrong round I guess, nobody could possibly have seen such an incident coming.

So of course as brownie pointed out, he got his D2D wrong but was rather unlucky to do so, and at least his side avoided the nightmare scoreline of 1-3 that would've seen many people get a maximum 5 points from that one game. Of a possible 23 other players, 21 disagreed with him. All rightly went for an away win except one, joe mills, who sneakily also gets bonuses for technically disagreeing, which moves him further away from tom at the wrong end of the standings. At the other end sivy is back in the habit of decent enough performances, and so extends his lead by another two points to 10, while Del moves up a few as he took top scorer honours this time. Speaking of habits, Haraga went back to being rubbish as he was lowest scorer with a paltry 3 this time out.

Away from the Liberty Stadium, the other EPL results weren't much use as as away wins for Liverpool and QPR plus the stalemate at the Stadium of Light took most participants by surprise. As for the German game that did go ahead, some guessed it would be a home victory, but the 4-1 margin alluded everyone. No shocks in our selected Scottish matches, but again of the two scorelines the more mundane 1-0 proved the most useful. Elsewhere in Scotland the SPL fixtures yielded a lot of points, as many foresaw managerless Hibs hold on for a one-all at home to Killie, while Craig Brown's Dons suffered a home loss to his previous club at Pittodrie, which was almost as fruitful for three-pointers.

Coming up in a new thread in a few minutes, the first of two continental D2Ds in three weeks as we visit two different European leagues per 10-match card in each of the next three rounds.
