fye Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Anyone watching sky news as they are interviewing a masked kid on the street who seems about 15 Whats with the made up accent? Mancs dont talk like that, he sounds like Professor Green and Tim Westwood's love child (not sure how that would work)
Dr.PeterVenkman Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Just to join in the people-who-aren't-normally-racist-but-are-being debate, was int pub before and I was asked by a few regulars, who I was called Paki-lover by due to me defending India being given a massive sum of money by the UK a few months ago (work out that logic), whether I could defend blacks seeing as most of the looters/rioters are black, I honestly couldn't, It's black culture thats started this, simple as that

Glen Quagmire Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 How long does everyone on here think this shit will last I'd say until we have a night where it starts pissing down. What happened with the Sky News reporter?
CurryAngel Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 I hope that Sky News reporter is okay, that was a terrifying scene. What happened? Don't have sky news on at the moment but their coverage has been class for the last couple of nights.

Mancs dont talk like that, he sounds like Professor Green and Tim Westwood's love child (not sure how that would work) My mate, who was born in Trafford, just text me saying how furious he is that a wanker like that was on telly ostensibly representing Mancunians (he didn't say ostensibly obviously, he's a thick Manc after all)
CurtainTwitcher Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 (edited) I hope that Sky News reporter is okay, that was a terrifying scene. What happened? I missed it. As for the conspiracies about the police shooting the guy for no reason - and even planting the gun(!) - what purpose would that serve? A police officer shooting anybody without justification is no different to you going out with a gun and shooting somebody. I know for a fact that for an armed police officer to open fire, there must have been an extremely high risk to public safety. The man had a gun and if he was pointing it at anybody, that would have been justifiable force used by the police - shooting him in his chest (bearing in mind he was sat in his car). Dash X Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 (edited) What happened? Don't have sky news on at the moment but their coverage has been class for the last couple of nights. a 15 year old with his face covered told a reporter that he was out on the streets robbing. Had bunch of skinny blacks behind him grinning. Not really terrifying. Edited August 9, 2011 by Dash X
mackie Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 What happened with the Sky News reporter? Sky news reporter during an interview on the street decided to turn the camera round to the crowd of youths that were watching the filming and interviewed a masked kid about the rioting live on air. It must have taken some serious balls to do that
Paid Members PunkStep Posted August 9, 2011 Paid Members Posted August 9, 2011 Reporter was interviewing some scabby Manc kid wearing a motorcross-like mask, shades and a hoody. The kid was saying he wasn't a law-abider and he was just out to piss the police off, getting pissed and all that. Didn't look like a terrifying scene to me, the kid looked as though he was just giving it the gab.
Paid Members Lion_of_the_Midlands Posted August 9, 2011 Paid Members Posted August 9, 2011 Reports on twitter of a large group of both Millwall and Charlton fans defending parts of Eltham while singing "No one loots us"
