Paid Members tiger_rick Posted November 11, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 11, 2011 2 people today have told me Steve McLaren is in the frame for the Tigers job. Odds have come down from 10/1 to 6/4 at one bookie this afternoon. Interesting. Â Looks like Warren Joyce again now. Love rumours.

Paid Members tiger_rick Posted November 16, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 16, 2011 Pearson has finally gone. I'm very, very disappointed with the way he's left but I thank him for the job he's done which has been vastly under-rated by fans and media alike. We were a shambles last September. An utter mess. Â Nick Barmby is caretaker manager. We've appointed a new coach and a new Assistant manager is to come. It's Barmby's job to win or lose.
Thunder Lips
My girlfriends cousin Matt Reeves is a physio at Hull, Pearson took him with him from leicester to hull, I wonder if he will go with Pearson again or stay at Hull
The Curious Orange
So why is Willie McKay helping push the boat out at Doncaster Rovers? Â Don't know if anybody's seen this yet, but for anyone wondering where all of Doncaster's cash has suddenly came from - they've signed a consultancy deal with agent Willie McKay and he's now in charge of all transfers at the club. Plan is to get a load of foreign players in on loan, then split the money with parent club if someone come sin and buys them.

Paid Members tiger_rick Posted November 17, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 17, 2011 Nick Barmby's assistant is Steve Wigley. Heard a rumour and then saw him earlier! Â He was Dowie's assistant here. Which isn't great but apparently the players enjoyed working with him and NB struck up a friendship. Â And he's cheap, I'd imagine. That is the only explanation for his substitution tactics.
Paid Members Up Chuck Posted November 18, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 18, 2011 Apparently some clubs are considering switching to artificial turf, including Wycombe. It'll be interesting to see if/how that affects the ground-share they have with London Wasps (rugby generally requires longer grass).
vanhalen2007
That is now 20 home wins in a row for Southampton, only 6 more to break the record set by Bradford Park Avenue in 1926!
mikey
Saracens are going to try playing on artificial turf, opcws. If it's of the 4G variety and the shock absorption is good, it may work out. The RFU are onboard too.
