Paid Members Up Chuck Posted April 22, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted April 22, 2012 And here it is on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6TyZ7oGq3k  This is really great. I love how Zack adjusts his style near the start depending on whether he was in with Suzuki or Shiosaki - going hold-for-hold with Suzuki, who's a junior heavyweight like him, but trying to keep Shiosaki, the heavyweight, grounded. And it builds nicely, with Zack taking loads of stuff but getting TONS in too. Really fun match, that.  EDIT: Sorry for the double-post, forgot I'd already posted in here. cobystag
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xqgfyo_ko...e-jr-noah_sport  Pretty damn good match and maybe my favourite match of Zack's that's aired this tour so far. Sabre and Marvin make a good team.  Anyways todays result seen as I got the finals spoiled for me. Global Tag League - Final: Mohammed Yone & Naomichi Marufuji besiegen Takeshi Morishima & Katsuhiko Nakajima (14:11) als Yone Morishima nach einem Shinsei Muscled King pinnte   Disappointed that Sabre/Kanemaru only got under five and a half minutes after their great matches in England.  So Zack's tour has come to an end and he lost every single match, but he got to mix it up in matches he didn't get in his first tour such as singles matches against Aoki and Marvin, he got to partner with the GHC Heavyweight Champion in a taped tag match and also got to face him in a six-man tag.  From the three and a half matches I've got to see of his, he did very well for himself on this tour and he really emphasised his British/European wrestling skills to really stand out and impress the audience.  I would not be surprised at all to see Zack over in Japan again and potentially become a full time gaijin for them. cobystag
So Zack's tour is *NOT* over! Â He's announced as facing Taiji Ishimori on this Sundays show. Â http://www.noah.co.jp/tour_detail.php?tour_id=953 Â Don't know if this will be taped, but looking at the line up (Morishima/Nakajima vs Taniguchi/Kanemaru, Akiyama/Aoki vs Marufuji/Yone, Shiozaki vs Kotoge, Suzuki vs Marvin and Zack vs Ishimori) I hope it's on Samurai TV, especially seen as the big 5/9 show is definitely on G+. Â http://www.noah.co.jp/tour_detail.php?tour_id=954 Â On that show Zack will be facing Atushi Kotoge, NOAH's new signing and formerly of Osaka Pro, he has appeared in CHIKARA where I was fortunate enough to see him live. Â Zack has matches booked up to at least mid-May.

cobystag
Excellent another three month stint then. Come July when he returns to England will be a full year since he originally want to Japan so out of the past 12 months he will have spent half of them in Japan. Â Shame for all of those in England who would pay money to see him on every show if they could, but such a great learning experience for him. And I really can't wait to see what six months in Japan will have taught him when he returns to these shores.

cobystag
Out of the 19 contracted NOAH roster members, Zack has yet to be in the same ring with five of them. Â Jun Akiyama, Naomichi Marufuji, Takashi Sugiura, Maybach Taniguchi and the newest NOAH roster addition, Atsushi Kotoge. Â He'll be facing Taniguchi and Kotoge in May and I hope he gets to mix it up with Akiyama and Marufuji in the future. Hopefully Sugiura too when he returns from injury. Paid Members Up Chuck Posted May 6, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted May 6, 2012 Yeah, I noticed that, they've made sure he's got the chance to have a go with everyone. In the experience of the more Puro-savvy posters, is that likely to be good, bad, or inconsequential?
lightningxlock
Im sure it can only be viewed as a positive on the whole. And im pretty sure thats how Zack will view it. Its giving him the chance to work all manner of styles and face guys both big and small. He appears to be adapting to that really well as sometimes he'll rely on his strike based offence or pure mat wrestling in the case of his matches with Aoki and Marvin and even abit of comedy when he came up against Taue on the last tour. Â The only problem, if it's one at all, is that some of the guys are past their prime or really banged up and that may hinder the chances of him having blowaway matches with them. But thats just life and im sure he'll be buzzing just locking up with these guys and learning a trick or two let alone having a 5* match.
cobystag
Yeah it's completely a good thing. Zack has got to have technical matches against Ogawa and Aoki, strike based battles against Nakajima, great cruiserweight matches against Ishimori, Marvin, Suzuki, etc etc and has had the opportunity to wrestle former and current GHC Heavyweight Champions like Shiozaki and Morishima, as well as face legends like Sasaki and Kobashi. And I know that these first two tours are just the first steps in Zack potentially becoming a regular gaijin for NOAH as we all know he has the skills and talent to go very far and could potentially end up as someone seen as a credible challenger in the GHC Jnr ranks.  Anyways, results time:  Diamond Ring, 05.05.2012 Chiba Port Arena Sub Arena 753 Fans - No Vacancy  1.
