The crazy things you can get up to in Japan. Like help advertise pedestrian safety awareness with the rest of the NOAH roster.

Zack's match against Aoki.

His result from today and tomorrow will most likely be posted by Suz as I'm gonna stay spoiler free until the shows are aired next weekend.

Nice little matchup there, two very skilled mat technicians. Aoki is awesome.

Zack is a very lucky lad, not only being a full time pro wrestler (I assume he doesn't have a day job) at 24/25, but being able to compete in one of the most respected companies in the world. That being said, he's a super nice guy and works very hard so I cant think of a more deserving person.

Couldn't agree more with this. Loved Zack/Aoki and hope we get a rematch down the line. Would love to be able to see in live and in person in England...... But I won't hold my breath on that one.

And every time I've spoken to Zack he is a true class act and absolutely deserves the position he's in now. Watching that match against Aoki it's obvious that he suits the NOAH style and could easily warrant a more permanent gaijin status for them. I'd love for him to be able to work full time in Japan like PAC or Devitt if that's the road he wants to travel right now if the opportunity was presented to him.

Although as a massive fan of the guy, it would suck to see him less and less on these shores, but make it an extra special occasion when he is.

The full 4/14 show. Zack is the second match in and it's clipped so only three and a half minutes or so of his match against Marvin air.

Looked to have been a decent match. A match based more on intricate pinning holds and reversals than the submission vs lucha high flying match you'd expect from these two judging by what is shown.

What I like about Zack's performances on this tour that I have seen is that he is standing out. Zack is a capable wrestler and he could easily adapt to NOAH's strike focussed style, relying on his kicks. Instead he focuses more on his mat wrestling, his technical skills. He keeps that aspect of his game at the forefront and it makes him stand out in NOAH.

It's a shame that Ogawa is still injured as I recall that Zack liked wrestling Ogawa as they would do much more technical, mat based wrestling. I recall that he got a 1 page write up in Puro weekly for a singles match with Ogawa that wasn't even taped. I would have loved NOAH to do a rematch and tape it, but it seems like it isn't meant to be.

I know Zack mentioned he had a singles match against Kento Miyahara in an un-taped Kensuke Office show that got a write up in Tokyo Sports(?) that really surprised Zack.

Oh and the 15th show is up.

Zack's match from the 15th is up on daily motion in full. I was surprised to see how much offence Zack gets in as he's pretty much in the ring for the full 17 minutes with Morishima making brief tags in here and there. He gets in some great near falls too and the revolution DDT looked awesome. Really good match.
