Former WWE talent Sean Waltman (a/k/a X-Pac) discussed reaching rock bottom when he attempted to commit suicide in his hotel apartment in Mexico City.

"I was in Mexico for three years. When I was there, things got really bad," Waltman recalled to the Miami Herald.

"I got in a heated argument that turned into physicality with my girlfriend [Alicia Webb]. I ended up striking her back. I always told myself that I would die before I would hit a woman. So when I did that, I was overcome with guilt and shame. I had no tools to handle it. The only thing I could think of was take a whole bottle of Valium or what was left of the bottle. It was probably around 400 milligrams of Valium.

"I hung myself from the roof of my apartment. It was the darkest moment of my life, or one of them, to get me to do that. It was a lot of build up that I didn

Nice nab, the full story is a pretty good read actually, considering he gets the shit ripped out of him online quite a lot, ive never actually understood that whole 'xpac heat' crack. Ive always enjoyed watching him as a wrestler, not so much in porno's though.

He comes over pretty well in that interview and seems to have sorted his life out which is cool. If i attend the 1PW show, i'll make sure to try and meet him.

X-Pac is awesome. He seems a proper nice bloke and very smart when it comes to wrestling. He turns up on all the internet wrestler reality shows as well. He was on RVD's a few times where he instantly made the show more interesting with his musings. I remember when he was in TNA, and him and Scott Hall would just bury TNA on interviews for the things that are wrong with the promotion, which was always entertaining. He seems to be having an indian summer via the internet, because he's on some podcast or interview every other day.

where does he talk about sexual abuse? I cant see it, might be as im full of the cold and struggling to read

I read that out loud... and it sounds like such a fucked up pervy question. (not saying you have the baby oil out mate.. just sounded funny). Anyway, if you go to the lords of pain website, click on the 'xpac speaks out' link, it takes you to the full interview. He doesn't really mention much about it, but kind of states, that he thought it was the abuse that made him depressed, when in fact the abuse was just part of it.

Also 1PW Ive also heard that road dogg is a nice bloke too, but apparently Billy is a bit of a tool, shed any light?

Sorry Southside, if theres a chance to get to it, i will. How come only 2 of the 3 are on your card at the moment?

without going into ins and outs. all 3 have been really really nice and great to deal with. same with all the unannounced names for them shows too. its never been this easy to deal with a group of imports before.

I've always liked X/Syxx-Pac, even when he was stale. He just had something about him that said "solid heel" or "fiery blue-eye". Was gutted when TNA released him again, I thought he and Hall would really light up the place, not just with their own characters, but getting other guys to raise their games too.

That reminds me of the cracking match he had with AJ Styles back in 2005. He wasn't in bad shape at all in that run and could have stayed a long time as a veteran to help out the younger guys.

He really should have been something, I think he could have gotten to Chris Jericho/Eddie Guerrero like levels if they stuck with him hard enough. Instead of bringing in The X Factor in 2001, that should have his time for being upper mid carder holding the IC title. Maybe in 2 years or so he could have been main eventing every known again.
