Paid Members Egg Shen Posted January 6, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted January 6, 2012 watched the first episode of UFC Tonight, not bad but basically shorter carbon copy of MMA Live. Nice to have a UFC endorsed recap though where you get to seee proper higlights, instead of the clipped stuff with no finishes off other shows. Ill continue to watch. Â Not to sure on Todd Harris as a host yet, but its nice to see him an on air role.
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted January 6, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted January 6, 2012 Did anyone realise Jon Madsen had been cut from the UFC? I didnt, but he has and hes signed with Bellator. Â Proof that the UFC will get shot of a boring fighter first chance they get. Madsen was 4-1 in the promotion.

Moderators Astro Hollywood Posted January 6, 2012 Moderators Share Posted January 6, 2012 Did anyone realise Jon Madsen had been cut from the UFC? I didnt, but he has and hes signed with Bellator.I'm honestly glad, and from the purely shallow point of not enjoying looking at him when he was onscreen. He looked like an enormous baby. It was creepy.
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted January 6, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted January 6, 2012 well, who'd have thunk it... Christiane Cyborg has been busted for steroids: Â The California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) has suspended the license of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter Cristiane Justino Santos, better known in MMA circles as Cris Cyborg, and has fined her $2,500 as the result of a positive test for a banned substance. Â Santos' December 16, 2011 drug test came back positive for stanozolol metabolites. CSAC learned of the test results December 23, 2011 and suspended Santos's license, with the suspension applied retroactively to December 16, 2011. In accordance with Rule 368, the result of her last fight between Hiroko Yamanaka will be changed to a "No Decision". Â "Our primary concern is for the health and safety of fighters," said CSAC Executive Officer George Dodd. "Anabolic agents and other banned substances put not only the users of those agents at risk, but their opponents as well. The commission simply will not tolerate their use." Â consider her reputation destroyed, that's a big hit for women's MMA + Strikeforce.

Moderators Astro Hollywood Posted January 6, 2012 Moderators Share Posted January 6, 2012 What with that, and Haywire coming out, it's time for QUEEN GINA to ascend back to her throne :love:As long as she doesn't have to do anything silly, like making weight. John Galt
Is it true that her getting sparked was the reason for that film getting put on the shelf? It's years old now and I've read a few things saying they were going to push it as her being this badass IRL and in the movie and when she lost and disappeared, they didn't know what to do because it's hard to market a film around a cast of villains, no matter how high profile. David
Hughes is a massive bellend, but Hardy really must be confident in his ground game if they fight. I know Hardy has spent his time off training on his wrestling, but Hughes would still dominate him.I would pick Hardy to knock Hughes out within a round if they fought. Hughes simply doesn't have it anymore.Strikeforce should ditch her weight class and concentrate on the 135ers and when she

Paid Members Egg Shen Posted January 7, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted January 7, 2012 he basically went on about him being an idiot again, and wanting to give him a 'glassectomy'. In one interview he also said something about wanting to put him in a violent choke or something. Â I love Jacob Volkmann, the guy's such an anti-fighter, he doesn't look like a fighter, doesn't act like a fighter and he has a very boring style of fighting but i can't help but love the underdog. His mouth's gonna get him into shit though cause he says it as he see's it, but the guy's on a 5 fight streak at 155 though (all decisions), boring or not he has to get a big fight next. Â VOLKMANN FOR PRESIDENT.
