Paid Members Egg Shen Posted November 18, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 18, 2011 Jim Miller vs Melvin Guillard will be the main event of the first FX show. Ohh the loser of that is going to find himself right down the pecking order.
Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted November 18, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 18, 2011 Yeah Miller/Guillard is a funny one. The winner could find themselves right back in the hunt but the loser will drop to the bottom of the ladder. Should be a cracking fight though. Paid Members Egg Shen Posted November 18, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 18, 2011 Yeh it definitly has a 'fight to stay relevant' feel to it. I favour Miller.
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted November 18, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 18, 2011 in case anyone's forgotten... Â Â that is Sunday! Pretty weird that a Fedor fight is kinda like a footnote in the weekend's action, just shows how much his stock has fallen in the past 2 years. Being a Fedor fanboy though im fucking pumped for it. I think Monson's the perfect opponent for people to guage just what Fedor has left. Monson is a durable kind of veteran so Fedor's gonna have to work for this, and if Fedor has indeed 'lost it' he could very well be on the receiving end of another upset. Â Kind of looking forward to checking out the rest of the guys on the card too, M-1 prettty much runs on it's own terms, it never really makes a big impression on the big MMA picture but they are constantly running shows and have their own thing going, be cool to see how it goes. Paid Members Snake Plissken Posted November 18, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 18, 2011 Anderson Silva has said he will fight Sonnen.... In Brazil. Could you imagine what would happen if Sonnen won?

Paid Members Bus Surfer Posted November 18, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 18, 2011 These fight announcements are popping up all over the place. Fantastic. Would rather see Rampage/Mo over Ramage/Griffin again though. Also what happened to Nelson/Kongo?
hbk4life
Miller vs. Guillard is a great fight, I'll take Miller but it should be a good scrap. Â I was hoping for Hunt vs. Struve

Paid Members Egg Shen Posted November 18, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 18, 2011 Melvin's always a guy ive loved to hate. Â Dana White announced a few little hints on his pre-139 interview with Ariel Helwani about Fox 2, he said there'll likely be 4 fights on the broadcast, with 2 big fights on top, he said neither would be title fights, and we'll find out Monday. Â Sooooo, what are they?
Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted November 18, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 18, 2011 I'd have preferred Rampage vs Mo too but maybe they see that as a potential big fight down the line and want Mo to get a UFC fight under his belt first to get casuals more familiar with him. Â Rampage vs Forrest 2 is alright though, still some unfinished business there after the close decision last time. I'd take Rampage by KO in that one. Â Looking forward to seeing Fedor back in action. Hope he can get an impressive showing in. It's amazing how quickly he's become kind of irrelevant. He was the man 18 months ago. I'd love to see him get a few decent wins before he calls it a day.
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted November 18, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 18, 2011 Dont know if this will be up for very long but here's the video from tonights Chael Sonnen interview with Michael Landsberg. It didn't go down to well. Landsberg's a complete cock anyway. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_LUaHiLruE Chael has a good point really. He's asking him about the Anderson Silva fight which we've all heard him talk about before, it's well over a year old now. As mentioned he starts the conversation off all wrong by saying he "backed down" over his offer to Anderson Silva. Â I do find Chael to be funny and entertaining, but what questions haven't been asked of him already? When people are getting an interview with him just coz it's him, but they're asking re-hashed questions all over again, they're not gonna get anything new from him are they? Him walking out like that was probably the best thing they could hope for i don't really see why Chael got so offended by the original question, after that it's just a free-for-a-all but that's a crazy piece of footage. Paid Members Egg Shen Posted November 18, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 18, 2011 yeh i think Rampage-Griffin II will be one. I'd prefer the Mo fight but Griffin's the bigger name, plus it sells as a rematch.
