Anyone else having problems with Sky channel 433 for Cage Warriors? I heard this was for free?I know its Streaming on MMAJunkie but that seems to be cutting out for me.

Just been in touch via Facebook with a guy who works for Cage Warriors. He says it's a balls up on the part of the channel, and at the moment they can't get in touch with them because they're basically not answering their phones.

If you set UFC Cruz vs Johnson to record like I did you won't be able to watch it. Oh it's being repeated right now (3pm) but not as Freeview.Anyone able to watch it live as freeview on Premier Sports last night?

I recorded it and had no problems watching it this morning.

Did you record it using Sky plus? If so just fast forward it a minute or two and it should come on. Thats what I done anyway mate, hope it helps?
This, select to start watching the recording around 3 minutes in and it's fine.

Strikeforce lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez's days in the organization appear over. The standout lightweight will join the UFC's roster "ASAP," according to UFC president Dana White.A debut date and opponent haven't been determined, but White said it'll happen sooner rather than later. And if the timing is right, it could lead to an immediate UFC title shot."Yeah, we do want to bring Gilbert Melendez over, and we're looking at it right now," White said following Saturday's UFC on Versus 6 event at Washington, D.C.'s Verizon Center. "We're looking to bring Gilbert Melendez over ASAP."White, who also said Strikeforce heavyweight Fabricio Werdum (14-5-1 MMA, 3-1 SF) is likely to return to the organization, spoke definitively about the Melendez (19-2 MMA, 9-1 SF) move for the first time ever. After the UFC purchased Strikeforce earlier this year, he hinted at the possibility but stopped short of saying there was a concrete plan. However, Melendez, who recently cracked the top 10 in the media-voted Yahoo! Sports pound-for-pound rankings, now is making the move.Melendez, an early WEC fighter who's fought with Strikeforce and PRIDE since early 2006, is carrying a five-fight win streak with wins over notables such as Josh Thomson, Shinya Aoki and Tatsuya Kawajiri. Currently, he's slated to fight Jorge Masvidal in a Dec. 17 title fight, though it's not clear how a possible move to the UFC could affect those plans.White, though, isn't counting out the possibility that Melendez could get an immediate title shot in the UFC. While he's earned top-contender status on merit, White said it'll depend more on the timing of the title picture, which gets some clarity next weekend when UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar takes on Gray Maynard."[The title shot] is a possibility," he said. "The thing is with that division, it's so stacked, there are a lot of possibilities."We'll see what happens with the timing." MMA Junikie

Werdum is also coming over and looks set for one of the December shows, great stuff here, sad for Strikeforce but the writings been on the wall for a while and I can't see Strikeforce lasting by March.

I guess this means Showtime won't be re-negotiating for Strikeforce next year.Melendez has been wanting to move over since the buyout and Werdum deserves to be there aswell. I love Strikeforce but I'd rather they pull the plug now, it makes sense UFC are putting on more and more cards each year and they have a bunch of really good fighters under contract with Strikeforce that will fit right in on the UFC cards. Can't wait to see how this plays out.RIP Strikeforce (tears are rolling down my face as I type this....I was just watching the best of Strikeforce when I heard this news and all that ;) )

Did anyone catch Cage Warriors last night?SPOILERS ahead obviouslyFelt bad for Joseph Duffy. He was well on his way to winning the title and it all went tits up on one mistake. I was expecting him to finish Musardo, he seemed to be fading and Duffy was picking him apart when it all went wrong and Musardo got that guillotine. Fair play to Musardo though, he was the underdog here and he showed a lot of heart, took some good shots and pulled out the win.Chuffed to see Brian Foster have such an impressive showing. I've been singing Foster's praises for ages, he might not be a future champ or anything but he's always fun to watch and he's got an unpredictable style. That spinning back kick was nasty. Hope he's back in the UFC soon. Until then, I'd fucking love to see Foster vs Daley in BAMMA.Grimshaw vs Turner was a good technical stand up fight. Thought Grimshaw was unlucky with the judging, I had him winning 29-28 but it was a close fight. Brad Wheeler had a good performance aswell and I was impressed with Dayman Lake in the short time he was in the cage, first time I'd seen him he looks good. Both showed good grappling.Really fun show again from Cage Warriors.
