Would love to see Nikki Storm get a shout in Japan. She would get the best matches from the Jap Chaps in comparison to most of the Eve girls. I think shes a brilliant all rounder and judging by the reactions from Ice Ribbon, they think so too.

I think Erin Angel is horrendously underrated also, easily the best face on the roster just now.

Push for this event to be in June please, I'll be in Japan at that time so would definitely attend!

How much [roughly] is it from the UK to Japan by the way?

Depends on where you go and for how long. In my opinion, you need at least a fortnight there if you want a decent Japanese experience.

Suggestions are that the Ice/Eve event would be at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, so for a 5 night stay in Tokyo in March you'd be looking at around a grand if you shop around for flights and a reasonable accommodation. Thats just a rough estimate after a quick Google.

I've got my trip down to about that much for a fortnight in June so there is money to be saved.

I'd say Nikki's personality would be a positive rather than a negative in a potential situation like this, Japanese wrestling certainly isn't all "serious business" or what have you.

Yeah, true.

I know Japan loves its silliness [i have seen, and become a big fan of, DDT recently!] and big personalities.

I suppose from what Ice Ribbon have said she will be going over should the event happen, which is great for her, EVE, British and Scottish wrestling.

I guess it just goes to show how good the EVE roster is that people are finding it difficult to pick just 4 of the girls to take a trip over there.

Oh, and couldn't agree more with the Erin Angel comment. She is criminally under-rated.

I agree , if there is one person I have gone on about to Dann to put on a Southside show it is Nikki , she has an amazing personality in the ring.

Agreed. At the weekender I didn't like her at first, but by the end of her match on Sunday evening she'd won me over. A great heel, and she reveled in the abuse we gave her and turned out a great match with Shida. She really stood out as something different to others on the roster - which shouldn't be seen as a knock on anyone btw.

Would love to see more of her

PRO-WRESTLING:EVE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH THIS SUNDAY AT SOUTHSIDE!

JennyvJaney.jpg

'The Female Fight Machine' Jenny Sjodin is set to defend her Pro-Wrestling:EVE Championship against EVE's resident crime fighter Super Janey B this Sunday (November 6) at Southside Wrestling Entertainment's big 1 year anniversary show at The Priory Centre in St Neots, Cambridgeshire.

Super Janey B is rolling into this contest on a wave of momentum following a win over Em Jay at the last EVE taping and having defeated recent EVE Championship challenger Rhia O'Reilly at the last Southside event 'Retribution II' in a Pro-Wrestling:EVE Guest Match!

The reigning Pro-Wrestling:EVE Champion Jenny Sjodin is also at the top of her game following recent victories over April Davids and the future Japanese Hall Of Famer Emi Sakura at the recent EVE V Ice Ribbon tapings in Nottingham, however Super Janey B has the home field advantage here having previously competed and gained a victory in front of the Southside fans. Additionally, if the rumours pertaining to the real identity of Super Janey B are true then Jenny is also giving up 5 years of experience too and the blue and white clad hero could very well be flying away from St Neots with the Pro-Wrestling:EVE Championship!

Pro-Wrestling:EVE are excited to be bringing this match to Southside Wrestling Entertainment's huge One Year Anniversary show and we encourage fans of all styles of professional wrestling to make their way to The Priory Centre in St Neots, Cambridgeshire this coming Sunday (6/11/11).

WATCH "SWEDES' SECRET LIVES" FT: EVE CHAMPION JENNY SJODIN!

hemligaliv.jpg

Pro-Wrestling:EVE Champion 'The Female Fight Machine' Jenny Sjodin was recently one of three Swedish women profiled in prime time television documentary series "Swedes' Secret Lives" on Swedish network TV3.

The camera crew follows Jenny as she trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, works her day job as a political columnist, wrestles professionally in her native country of Sweden and competes for Pro-Wrestling:EVE this past April. The show also features exclusive backstage footage from EVE as well as comments from EVE commentator Angus McManus.

We can not recommend this documentary enough and are all incredibly proud of the current reigning and defending Pro-Wrestling:EVE Champion who shows us all just why she's been nicknamed 'The Female Fight Machine'.

The show is available to watch now at EVEwrestling.com
