Some of those "Tales of the Unexpected" stories written by him are quite chilling for the 70s.

Was Worldwide still going on Channel 5 when WCW closed the doors? I have this recollection of it being still on there.

I'm sure I read that Patrick Swayze wanted "She's like the Wind" on the soundtrack of everything he was in during the 80s.

Songs written for a film plus dance numbers = musical.
It probably is more of a musical but I just don't see it like that.

Does Labyrinth count as a musical?Â
Wouldn't think so. A few David Bowie songs are in there, but that was the same for mostly every Bowie film released around then.

Julian Lloyd Webber looks like a Stud compared to ALW. JLW is responsible for the old "South Bank Show" themeÂ

Is anyone in musical theatre more overrated then Andrew Lloyd Webber? I know Phantom is a staple, but everything else seems to die off pretty quickly, even his Phantom Sequel.
My dad, I’m sure shamelessly stolen, told me a joke of Andrew Lloyd Webber walking into a Burger King and asking for 2 Whoppers and the server replied “Your Musicals are good and your a handsome man”. What can I say, it made me laugh as a kid.Â

I'm knicking that Lloyd Webber joke. Top notch my man.

I'm very much the same. My mum absolutely adores West Side Story and things around that time, plus I remember she took me to a few musicals when I was younger. I don't remember much about them apart from Starlight Express which was such a mental experience. It's some fond memories but nothing that I've really got into myself over the years.
"Starlight Express" is just absolute mentalness. Theme is alright though. It would be really shit for anybody not into a bit of Lloyd-Webber.

Only musical I would probably watch is if they done a film version of "Chess", which they have strangely never done so far.

She wrote some amount of porn under pen-names too.

Good, not for his family obviously, to see the great Sir Clive Sinclair right in front.

Scott Hall when he changed from Magnum PI into Razor Ramon was a right handsome bastard.

If you win the UEFA Conference League, you win a Group Place in the Europa League the next season. What's the point? If you've finished already in a higher league position, you win absolutely he-haw.

Real shame, this. Groundbreaking band both musically and socially. Jimmy put out a nice tweet.Â

I often wondered why Jimmy Somerville left the band for "The Communards". Bronski Beat still released some decent songs, with a new singer, like "Hit that Perfect Beat" and Eartha Kitt & Bronski Beat with "Cha Cha Heels", which is below..

Jeezo. It's just negative story after another with Barton.

Samantha Fox turning up at Wrestlemania 3. Was this legit? Why? Thank you.
-
Why is Joey Barton trying to look like Adolf Hitler?
Imagine having him manage you. Jeezo. Poor Bristol Rovers fans.

They've got some online service called "TPTV Encore" now. It's online. No app. Full of ads though. Tiny collection, from what I've seen..
ADDED: Already mentioned on the last page. Just not a lot of films on there.

They'd be worth a Goddamn fortune on Ebay and I tossed them out. Urghhhh.

Didn't one of the Gallagher brothers say they were the reincarnation of John Lennon, or some barmy shit like that? I remember some people in my secondary school taking that shit seriously.

Nothing from the 90s was better than McAlmont & Butler's classic Yes. And if you come back at me, we'll have a right sort out in here. And you can pair up if you like. And you can pick someone else to help you. And you can bring your fucking dinner. Because by the time I'm done with you, you'll need it.
Yes, brilliant song. Sad after doing "Yes" and a cover of "Diamonds are Forever" that David McAlmont's career, as far as I'm aware, fizzled out. What a singer.

He should have really thrown in the towel in all reality. You're right neil.

You'll never beat "(Prince) Phil, I'm Missing You"..

Apollo's carry-on the way to the ring deserved some sort of kicking. Maybe not a deathing, but certainly a punching.

Don't know what Dick the Bruiser is advertising here. Happ Hazzard posted it over on the WrestlingClassics.com board. First five seconds are hilarious..
