Wheetabix is awful. It's like eating soggy paper.

nWo and the "Monday Night Wars" seem like 50 years ago.

The Shitarse 50. Say no more.
Yeah, one of the main threads I was tuned into for more. It was brilliant. Some guy getting his mum involved and stuff. Did happen right?
2002 I've been here. Anybody remember the mIRC chat room? That was a must-be place most nights early 2000s. Used to be packed.

Anybody that got a "ham shank" to that pixellated image needs their heads looked at it. Nothing there. She is rather well endowed, but it's shadowed.,,,,unfortunately...
ADDED: Anybody else spotted the rise of "porn mags" discarded on the street like it's 1992? It's mental.
Clive Sinclair basically invented the "Mobility Scooter" for disabled people. Other people added shit to it, but Clive did the first prototype (with his Electric Car thingy), which kind of moves like a "Mobility Scooter".

I got him to sign my ZX81 user manual the day I bought it from WHSmiths in Manchester. Â He was doing a demo of the new 16k Spectrum. Â
What a man Clive Sinclair was. True visionary. RIP my man.

Genuinely - hand on soul - thought Yokozuna was a reference to Godzilla or something like that, when he was in the WWF.
Everyday's a schoolday.I remember the Sumo Association being really hot at the WWE for using the name "Yokozuna". Threaten to sue and all that good shit.

Great visual joke in it where someone hears a creak and ominous cello music ramps up.Â
ÂEl Bimbo, aka the Blue Oyster music was my ringtone for ages years ago. Had to rip it from YouTube though as can’t find the version used in the films anywhere!
Most famous version of it. "El Bimbo" by Paul Mauriat from 1977.,
Here's another tune from the "Blue Oyster Bar". I know all the songs, like. I can't remember what sequel it was. Earlene Bentley - "The Boys Come to Town"..

There was a period during that time period that WWE/WCW were using royalty free music or at least licensing some of it out cheaply. I have vague memories of a Vlad the Impaler documentary which had Goldbergs music on a near constant loop for example and there'll probably be more things like the above where wrestlers music popped up in unlikely places.
When we had "The History Channel" here, Goldberg's theme was in mostly every programme about World War 2. "Mean" Marc's 1990 music being used when Compo was getting clotheslined over a wall or something was used also in "Last of the Summer Wine".
I also have it on good authority that Booker T's theme was used in the odd TVX Freeview too.

One that got me as a youngster was a Clint Eastwood film, possibly Pale Rider, had a trailer/advert that had the Channel 4 News music.Â
Alan Hawkshow "Best Endeavours"..
During the Four Horsemen Vitamin advert in the 80s, the bloody "Crimewatch" theme appears. John Cameron - "Rescue Helicopter"

Never interacted with them but there's a guy with a "Hulkamania" vest on that runs down past the SECC to Glasgow Green all the time. I also see a guy in an "AEW" cap a lot in Sauchiehall Street, which is always a bit random.

Bloody Rab C. Nesbitt for our Glasgow readers. Old Rab would probably be the bad guy now.

Who the fuck is reviewing Leisure Suit Larry in 2021 that high?
Looking through the original games and they were getting 8's and 9's back in the day, I'm half tempted to try one.
Never was a "Leisure Suit Larry 4" according to Wikipedia. Some type of " marketing gimmick" when the Fifth one came out. "Where the fick is the fourth one?" . Most people think that the missing 4th one was so bad they just canned it.

God those games were a bit shit, weren't they? I remember the reboot using a parody of a Grease song
I'm surprised that Codemasters have the rights to "Leisure Suit Larry" now. Standards slipped much over there now?

Sam Fox’s strip poker.  Low-res pixel tits.  Couldn’t get a copy for love nor money.
"Leisure Suit Larry" probably would also suit your needs here.

The original 2D GTA's.Â
I remember them being quite good. I remember knocking down a bunch of Hare Krishnas a lot. Mostly just farting around and not getting with the story.

Jake Roberts was enhanced by those two classic themes he had, but he was already a tremendous worker.

Yes they did. I remember they two commentated on an "Old Firm" derby whilst on BSB. Must have been early 90s.

Cor, look at you lot with your rich families having Sky and parents who welcomed a satellite dish on their house.
Our Housing Association would have shot that Dish down if they could. Hated them and quite rightfully so.

What are you defining as a skin flick? Give us an example.
Normally a "softcore" film. It could be anything from "Confessions of a Window Cleaner" to some of those "Emmanuelle" films.

I don't remember Sky One showing skin flicks. You used to have to go three doors along to RTL1 for those.
..or Sky Movies on a Thursday night around 1995 or 1996. 11:30pm. Etched in my brain. Sunday night on Sky Movies at 10pm was for horrors. I remember "Hellraiser 3" being shown a lot.

If you go by Spotify streams, Tom Sawyer (a little over 188million) has nearly 3 times as many as Spirit of Radio (64million).
Spirit of Radio might be more popular amongst the hardcore fan base, but Tom Sawyer is definitely the bigger one to the fair weather fans.Â
It's probably because "Tom Sawyer" by Rush was in a famous "Family Guy" scene..

All of the usual, plus that "Heil Honey! I'm Home" supposed "comedy" about Hitler and Eva Braun moving next to a Jewish family. It last literally one episode on Sky One in 1990..

Wasn't Severn told to "f*ck off" basically when he refused to join the "Ministry of Darkness" and have "666" across his chest like the APA did with the symbols at the start. So he'd be the actual "Beast". Was the big Internet rumour of the day.
