Most Coppers out there are in normal uniform and holding a Baton, they're fucking brave as they have no defence and the MET are risking serious pay outs if any one of them were to get hurt out there.

*shrug* I can't make any comment on the veracity of any journalists, I can just say that as someone wandering around the city centre, including the most central bit, it's not been cordoned off.

I do know that a shop has been smashed in near the broadmarsh center. Flannels? Something like that? But that's not necessarily the same thing.

I'm feeling so isolated up here, family and friends all near the thick of it and all I can do is look at a screen.

the sky news pictures for Birmingham aren't exactly the same level. I'm not suggesting that it's not bad in Brum right now, but they jsut went "riotinging in birmingha,!" and they show a door on a mobile phone shop.

With respect, Duke, as you have been one of the better posters in this thread but I'd take the political bullshit over a live chatroom any day.

In retrospect I'm being out of order. Rather than try and dictate how people should act I should just put them on ignore so I don't have to deal with it. As someone with friends and family in and amongst the situation, I'm pretyt on edge at the moment and seeing people try and further whatever agenda they have is fucking infuriating as my city burns. Dramatic? Sure, but fuck it if that's not how I feel.

Get a grip. It's a wrestling discussion forum. If you want updates for friends and family go and use some other site better suited to that kind of thing.
