    It's an elaborate ploy to get the world's attention... and to witness the second coming of Sam Gibbs.Seriously though, I watched the press conference and there were so many holes in the story, yet something kept drawing me in. Cracking PBP above, although one thing you missed (unless I didn't spot it in your notes), was the claim that they reckon there are 3,500 to 7,000 of the fuckers across mainland USA. I too am intrigued to know how this one will end. Vince will probably book Bigfoot Vs. Big Show for WMXXV.

    It has to be Mab.. It's pretty much exactly what he wrote in the thread after people bitched him out for the spoiler.Either way though, my first thought was the same as Tiger's - what the fuck kind of magazine prints this shit?

    It's deffo not me, 1st off it was only a week ago when I posted a spoiler (which I apologise for again, it was a genuine mistake, sorry) and 2ndly I actually quite like it here, hence me posting on here.

    Upon the recommendation of several friends, I decided to register with UKFF, a popular wrestling forum.At first, I was impressed by members' knowledge of pro wrestling history and backstage goings-on. But after a while, I noticed that some members, and particularly the administrators, had a pompous attitude towards new members, members with limited wrestling knowledge and, frequently, members who had opinions of their own.I felt the wrath of these people after I accidentally posted a topic without labelling it as a "spoiler". For committing this sin, I was insulted by other members and mocked for being dyslexic (I explained on the forum that I could neither read or write until I was 14).I would I recommend the UKFF to others? No. I found it to be full of bullying hypocrites, who slag off wrestling and those fans who genuinely love it.

    After reading it again, I don't know who the administartors are so I don't think they are pompus (I didn't know who Neil was until I got my suspension, so you can't really say the PTB are that pompus)I am not dyslexic and I could read & write from an early age, I also have not posted anything about reading or writing on here.I also couldn't be arsed going to the effort of writing to a magazine, I don't read wrestling magazines either.
    Upon reading this, I for some reason could only picture a lad with a mullet, wearing a Thundercats t-shirt and drinking a soda stream, almost imploding under the strain of not using a single exclamation mark.

    He hasn't actually got the clip board in hand off the chain though so it doesn't give it away for definate, it's just a strong indication!

    Exactly.The Sun would love nothing better to be proved right with their claims/theories, however it is all sensationalist speculation at this point in attempt to paint a picture of a monster, without discussing the more pertinent points of his mental state of mind and what could have driven him to carry out the actions, which are disturbing enough without the tabloid hype.By the end of the month, I expect we'll also find out that Shergar was found in his basement, he regularly had lunch with Osama Bin Laden and he was on a grassy knoll in Dallas in 1963.The idiocy of those who believe and buy the Sun are only surpassed by the scum who write for it. The sad thing is that many of the Sun's 'journalists' probably don't believe half of what they write, but their lack of ethics and respect for the truth means they'd rather print lies and speculation to further their own career, regardless of the additional mental anguish their claims put on those directly affected by this tragedy. By that I don't mean the users of the UKFF, but the friends and family of Chris, Nancy and Daniel Benoit. Although the Sun is a British newspaper (I use that word quite loosely), there are US equivalents which have the same approach.I really wish the family could be left alone and any outcomes of the police investigations are the next things reported on this case. Sadly though, the world we live in means there are people who thrive on sensationalist bullshit, so those of us with higher morals and levels of education, just need to rise above the idiots.

    Due to the fact that you should pay for it, and no one can be bothered to type it all up, no. The gist seems to be the note, that Benoit had serious drug problems (see GHB rumours), that Johnny Grunge was a peacemaker in Chris and Nancy's relationship, didn't help when he died, that the police believe he killed Daniel with the Crossface, that Benoit was a regular contributor of rumours to the sheets.

    Thanks Daniel.I have been reporting on this case for The Sun/Sun Online and am desperate to get everything as accurate as possible, which is why I need to see what Meltzer said in full rather than a summary.I have no idea where my Observer is or when it will come.If anyone on this board has a copy email me asap at simon.rothstein@the-sun.co.ukI will be able to pay the first person who sends me a full scan.     You know there is one thing appreciating Benoit's ability in spite of the situation surrounding his demise.It's just downright perverse to have a picture of him in your signature.

    If that was directed at me, wait a fucking minute before you sling mud.I updated my sig when I found out he'd died and the surrounding events weren't known. As soon as I'd posted my reaction to the press conference, I removed it.

    When asked if a motive was known, it's something 'they can't go into at this time'. So maybe they know of a possible reason but it nees more confirmation.I couldn't stop shaking as I watched that, this has been one of the most bizarre days I can ever remember.

    There aren't many things in memory which make me feel phsyically sick and numb at the same time. Chris Benoit was my hero and one of the main reasons I've watched wrestling as long as I have. I found out about this as I pulled up to work and am now sat at my desk, with a massive lump in my throat, shaking and completely speechless. Whatever has happened, Chris Benoit - RIP and thank you for the years of memories.
