  1. Completely understand, sir. I've been that soldier. Emily's three now so it's usually Curious George, Adventure Time or Regular Show and then put her to bed at 2030 and have about 3 hours to watch what we want.

Another three years brother! Just hang in there for those three hours of fucking bliss!

it's deffo on Netflix, coz my wee lad was watching it on his XBox a few weeks ago via that medium, so it's deffo there.

If I'm not too knackered tonight I will watch it. Now that i've finished Daredevil there's a small window available in the evening.

However, 3 hours??? Jesus, i get to about 3 minutes and all I want to do is sleep. I think what I'm finding difficult is the mess after bedtime. I get them both down at about 7.30, but it's the mess..the constant fucking mess!!! By the time all of it's cleaned, pans cleaned, nappies collected, toys tidied, showers etc, it's difficult staying awake for a film.

The worst was watching The Hateful Eight. I think I took about 2 weeks to watch it after falling asleep every time in 10 minute blocks.

So it gets easier at 3? That means I've got another 3 years by the time the youngest gets there. Bollocks. Still, best thing that's happened to me.

  2. It's the two kids that kill me man. I've got a 12 week old and a 2 year old and I just fall into bed when I get home after those 2 run me to the ground. It's finding the time.

That said, I've just got Netflix. Any chance it's on there? If not, I will do as you say, KAT it, then buy it. I guess I will have to do it tonight!

  3. I fucking love Seann William Scott, and fuck anyone who doesn't. The fact the guy has 2 n's in his first name is just brilliant to me.

His performance in American Pie 3 is so ridiculously over the top that I just crease up every time I watch it, and then there's the scene where he's chewing on the truffle shaped dog turd and he just ends the scene with "look man, I gotta go!" is just brilliant.

I love him in Richard Kelly's bat shit crazy 'Southland Tales' too.

I've been meaning to watch the goon for ages but just never get around to watching. I think I'm going to have to correct that now after everyone's comments in here. I knew it was supposed to be good, but it's just one of those movies that's slipped by.

  4. Looked alright to me. It was clear he was biding his time from the first knockdown. He didn't look completely out of it and was getting back up dead on time. But each to our own.

It was definitely the right call to stop the fight. I know what you're saying about Martin looking ok, but he just took too long to haul himself off the floor.

I think you mean 'each to their own' Seanz?

  5. I'd say Luke Cage absolutely splits the poor lass in two every time he's jockeying her.

it's quite unnerving seeing them two share intimacy, to be frank.

I want to see a Jessica Jones episode where they talk about something that's probably the size of her, entering her. The aftermath of which shows her unable to walk, so she has to drag herself from the bed like a dog wiping it's bum, to the toilet so she can hover over the throne as she rids herself of his seed, the noise of which sounds akin to a panpipe being rinsed out.

I feel slightly better knowing that I'm not alone in having those thoughts.

I actually watched Jessica Jones with my wife, and I'm pretty certain, she was thinking the same.

  6. I watched Batman vs Superman last night and I will keep this spoiler free.

I have to say I quite enjoyed it. There were parts that were clunky and very messy, but it was a movie weighed down by what they were trying to set up for the future universe that they have in mind.

Affleck for me was probably the best Batman to date. He's simply perfect for the role. A Ben Affleck directed standalone Batman movie has me beyond excited.

  7.

If you watch Foxcatcher I guarantee you will do a complete 180 on Tatum. He's incredible in it.

Yes! Tremendous in this. Such a self-aware meat head. Proper mancrush material.
Monotone meathead didn't seem to be much of a stretch for him, probably the easiest payday since Arnie in a Batman & Robin.

Having said that, I'm probably just been unfair on Tatum there. He's perfectly acceptable depending what he's in, he can only work with the material he's given

If you haven't seen it I suggest you do. This isn't simply a meathead role, but a complete transformation into Mark Schultz.

  8. X-men has been a bit up and down. X-men 1 + 2, The Wolverine, first class + DOFP, all are good, whilst the others.... not so much. Apocalypse looks to be fairly decent, and despite the apparent backlash, i actually really liked X-men 3 hah.

Up and down? From what you're saying the only dud is wolverine origins? I would say fox have been superb with the x men movies.

I loved it Chest. In particular I loved the richness of colour throughout and in particular how they incorporated the multi colours into the film company logos.

The trailer made it feel exactly like it should, incredibly fun.

I thought the first trailer made it seem good fun and light, but this one made it seem a bit silly and lame - hence my disappointment. If I wasn't expecting good things I wouldn't have been that fussed!

I'll still see the film though, I'm sure. Unless it gets totally panned.

    Strange. Complete opposite for me.

The first trailer is very dark in tone and the majority of it really has the majority of the characters either looking depressed, or in some sort of turmoil.

    Each to their own though.

  10. I thought that trailer for suicide squad was horrible. The music synched with the noses really didn't work for me and the font and the graphic that said 'worst heroes ever' was lame.

    Disappointing.

  11. Mcgregor is easily the stand out choice. The guy is incredible and could well be the become the biggest mma fighter we've ever seen, if he's not already.

The other 3 nominees are brilliant, and if there was a favourite moment nom then Holly Holm would probably win.

  12. It got absolutely panned in the pre release reviews, but I'm sure that had nothing to do with it.

From what I've read reviews seem to be mixed, ranging from saying the film is hilarious to well, not.

I've got to admit I was looking forward to seeing it as I really enjoyed This is the end. I still don't understand the point of the hack though? If the aim was to simply get the film removed from the cinemas wouldn't the threat have been suffice?

  13. Your brother sounds just like me except I'm more active with sports. Like him I would have bread with almost anything, and bizarrely I used to mop Gravy up with a good chunk of buttery bread. God I miss it haha.

I genuinely feel a hell of a lot less bloated.

  14. I thought I would add this here. Bread has always been my vice basically, and regularly I would have 4/5 slices of bread say if I was having a simple lunch of Baked Beans on toast.

However, last week I decided to eliminate bread from my lunches and replaced it with a variation of a salad. Say first couple of days I would have Lettuce, sweetcorn, beetroot, celery, carrott and peppers whilst adding say some tuna (mixed with lighter mayo) for protein. Then later in the week replace the tuna with mixed beans etc.

I lost 4.5llbs in one week and that's simply eating less bread. I didn't even make it to the gym last week either, so just football once.

  15. Forgive me if I'm missing something obvious, but with this new jazzy forum is there a way to have the text editing options we used to have? You know, the tags that allowed you to make specific text italics, bold, quotes, spoilers or whatever?

From what I can see, it's on the full version of the website, but it doesn't seem to be present on the mobile version. I'm guessing you're using the mobile version Supremo?
