There's a new Justice League feature length cartoon coming out, I don't know anyone else who watches these DC movies but I love them, I'm especially excited about this one as I just finished the comic the other day then I read they were making a movie of it, amazing timing.

The movie is called Justice League : Doom and it's based on this great story from 2000.

Oh, and I the only one who thinks Tom Cruise is over looked as a good actor? I find myself enjoying almost every film he is in. Maybe it is because he has a higher midichlorian count than anyone else and is effectively a God amongst men?

I think Tom Cruise is a great actor, he's really charismatic and it shows on screen, he's brilliant in Magnolia

I was about 15 and my older brother had a lovely steady girlfriend but he stupidly slept with his bitch ex one night (I'm not defending it but it's his business and she was very manipulative)

Anyway, I let the cat out of the bag and told his girlfriend (he was there too) about his affair totally by mistake, she ran out of the room in tears and he just looked at me like "what the fuck did you just do?" I was so embarrassed that I'd fucked up so royally that I pretended I did it on purpose to fuck him up, for some reason to me at the time it seemed preferable to be seen as an absolute cunt than someone who would make such a terrible faux pas. He ran after her but she was gone, he came back and shouted at me and I faked a smirk and still told him I did it to fuck him up (I was so gutted inside at how everything was turning out) he then proceeded to beat the shit out of me (which I didn't really deserve for an innocent mistake) I kept up the pretense that I'd told her on purpose and took the beating, I went to my room and just burst into tears in secret, bleeding and feeling terrible about what I'd done. He never found out it was a mistake and his girlfriend never came back to him. Me and him are close again now though, blood is thicker than water. I needed a talk with myself after that.

I've also sharted, pissed myself, wanked everywhere possible (including a hospital bog while visiting a sick relative) and wanked sniffing my friend's big sister's pants in their toilet when I was 14.

Yeah, that was cruel on the chap. Like my mate in a pair of Speedos. Seriously, not even that little wet pea looking thing sticking out that you'd see on a below to average junked punter in Speedos. And yet, he still wears them on holliers, and has an absolute stunner of a girlfriend.

 

I just hope Reynolds showcases his non-bulge in a Deadpool flick sooner than later. It's the one poxy flick I've been waiting years for, and instead we get guttersnipe like that Jonah Hex shite, Dylan Dog and Green Lantern. I hope it's Reynolds who follows through with this gig, coz the only other remotely smart option would be James Roday, but even that would be a let down.

 

On another note, I'm looking forward to Batman Year One...really am.

Speaking of Superhero movies that have yet to be I have no idea why for a new DC film they went with Green Lantern over the Flash, I think the Flash would've been a much safer bet for being a better more realistic film that non comic fans could potentially like. Hopefully we'll get it at some point because a movie of The Flash with modern special effects could do some really fun stuff visually with his speed.

Grand ol' bulge on him too. It's no Shelton Benjamin, but it'll certainly pique the interest of any lady who's never seen a black man naked.

Better than Green Lantern's invisi-bulge or the new Spider-Man's "Black pussy"! Also I don't know if anyone remembers but when it was first announced that Zack Snyder was doing this there were strong rumours that a non muscular actor (Matthew Goode from watchmen was rumoured) would be cast and when he was Superman his ody would be CGI (Like Green Lantern). I think one of the reasons I'm so happy with the suit how it is is I thought we'd get something even less traditional and the few changes they made I don't mind at all because I think they look cool.

I don't think so but my theory as to why they put "extra detail" in the suits in these movies now, I mean like the texture on this suit and the waffling on spider-man's suit, I think it's so the CGI looks better, it makes it more realistic, if there's no detail it looks like a cartoon, that's why Hulk's often dirty or sweaty or dusty, or in the rain.

I'm actually digging the new suit for the movie, I hated Brandon Routh's 2006 Superman suit, the 'S' was too small and weird and the cape was stuffed into his neckhole which looked too small, also the red was too dark for the blue. This suit works better I think, I expect costumes to change for the movies (Batman never wore black rubber before the first Batman film) and this is a change that I'm fine with. I like how he looks physically too, looks a lot tougher than other on screen Supermen. I have high hopes for this.

I can't believe in 2011 they're still giving Superman such long hair, I think this new musclier no pants - no nonsense supes would look better with a more severe haircut.

Just watched Bad Lieutenant for the first time on Blu Ray. Really good film. Not usually a fan of Nicholas Cage but he was pretty fucking good in this.

Love Nicolas Cage, love this movie! So good, I wish he'd make more films that made the most of his unique style likke that one does.

Man, you think you've seen shit movies? I just watched the 2007 medieval sex comedy Virgin Territory and it was pretty awful. Anyone seen it?

I think he looks cool, it means a lot to me that they're still trying to make him look like the comic character we all know and love and recognise, every filmmaker seems to want to make comic book movies so realistic and reinvent them that I thought our next Superman would be Will Smith in a black trenchcoat.

He also looks manlier than Christopher Reeve or Brandon Routh which is good.

Anyone else notice he doesn't have the iconic red pants? I'm willing to let that minor change slide.

Why has King Kong Bundy had such s patchy career? he seems like he was over as a star heel during the rock and wrestling era, then he left WWF (when he was only 31!) in 1988 and then only had another really short run a few years later.

Anyone know what happened? It's possible that he wasn't as big a star as I'm imagining and his catchy name and iconic appearance make him more memorable than his in ring work but he seems interesting and I'd like to know more about his career. I get the feeling people are surprised by how young he was. What's he up to now? (from Bret's book) he seems like a cracking bloke too.

Quick question, what do WWF VHS tapes sell for? I have WrestleMania XVI and XVII plus the WrestleMania I - XV boxset fully in tact and good working order. I know they're considered collectible due to the old WWF scratch logo, but wanted to know if E-Bay prices were what you'd expect or are they unfairly saturated with the price reflective of this.

The humour in that film is so unlike the humour in any western film it's crazy but I found it hilarious, the part where they interview his daughter is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Holy shit, it's absolutely mental. I really recommend it to anyone who wants to see a film that's totally insane but fairly slow moving in parts.

It's also hilarious, I'm purposefully not revealing much because I think the less you know going in the more fun it would be.

I'm not really into Japanese culture or world cinema and I hearted it.

I'm sure most people wouldn't see a film on that write up but if there are any unemployed stoners reading this who want to watch a crazy film late at night and not know what to expect this is a good un.
