  1. That doesn't make any sense.Surely if all he wanted to do was start an argument, he would have responded to Sickboy's comments..?Also, if he just went about starting arguments on anything, then his opinions wouldn't be very consistent, would they?He just has peculiar and particular tastes, strong opinions, and an abrasive and condescending tone.

  2. My mate went to Palace vs Cardiff the other week, and there were some lads from Cardiff getting pretty rowdy.

Here is his rather rubbish footage that he asked me to upload (his story about the incident was pretty entertaining, but I don't think the clips really do it justice) -

    Click 1, Click 2.

  3. Has anyone got any wwe scripts on their pc's. im really interested into how wwe run their shows. Thanks.

Someone posted a RAW script a while back on here that was a really intersting read. Unfortunately, I had it saved on my old work PC, so I don't have it anymore. I will send an email to a friend whom I sent it to, though, and see if they still have it...
  4. Saw X-Men 3 last night.I quite enjoyed it... my brother and cousin whom I was watching the film with were both pissed off that so many people died, but it didn't really bother me. Apart from Vinnie Jones walking around looking like some bondage queen it was a decent film.

  5. I went to a free advance preview of the Borat film last night. It is tremendous! They didn't make it too long, which was good, and it also had a good storyline, so it didn't just feel like an overly long episode of the tv show...It features the most grotesque and awesome fight scene I've seen in any film.... possibly ever.I'm sure if you're a fan you've already decided you're gonna go see it anyway, but just thought I would let you know that you wont be disapointed.

  6. I found Walk The Line to be pretty average and very biopic-by-numbers.

It was pretty by-the-numbers but I don't see anything wrong with that. I think the movie would have been average if they cast two different people but Pheonix and Greesy Reese were so good it was ridiculous. Being a big Johnny Cash fan helped alot aswell.
Did the huge amout of historical innacuracies not bother you?I haven't seen the film, but I ask because my friend who is a huge Johnny Cash fan complained about this a lot...
  7. Etrnal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Biggest load of wank ever. It started off quite well, and usually I'm a fan of films out of chronological order, but Christ this one is simply too complicated to follow. A man (Jim Carrey) wakes up one day to find that his girlfriend doesn't know who he is anymore, due to having the recollection of him erased from her memory. The whole film is based around flashbacks and shit like that. And the ending is stupid and dull.

It's really not all that hard to follow and understand. It's put together magnificently and the ending is pretty much perfect.
I found the constant flashbacks hard enough to follow but when Clementine started appearing in them too I became frustrated because I simply couldn't make sense of it all. I found the ending dissatisfying.
I don't mean to be rude, but I don't think you would have been dissatisfied by the ending if you had understood the film... And they weren't flashbacks per se, they were his memories..I duno - maybe watch it again if you can be arsed... I saw it just a couple weeks ago, and it was the best film I've seen in ages. (Or rather, it was - I've since been to the cinema to see Snakes on a Plane)
  8. I think that that GTA:SA mission was just coded to have too little margin for error as regards the the button push timing. The song being too downtempo doesn't help. I've done the first few levels of Gitaroo Man in Master Mode (for those who don't know the game: this is impressive :)) and it still took me a few tries to get past that mission on my second time through.Although to be honest I'd have to question why felt they needed a storyline bemani mission in the game in the first place...Quick and unexciting WHAT PLAY I~! update: Half-Life 2, Tekken 5, Everybody's Golf and Final Fantasy Nobbing 7 (yes, again). I really need to buy LocoRoco.

Hmmm.. maybe I was just lucky that I passed it first time..? Remind me never to play that mission ever again...Oh, and gwailo.. that RC Plane mission sure does suck, but it's not mandatory, is it?
  9. I'm too cheap to buy new games, so I've started GTA:SA again (man, I'd forgotten that dancing on the beach mission was a right cunt) and, through the joys of emulation, I'm blasting through the early stages of Secret of Mana; one of my favourite games of all-time.

I don't know what it is about that mission, or anything in a video game where you have to time your buttons like one of those dance games, but some people just seem to have a total block on it, and just can't do it, whereas others find it really easy.... It is harder though, if you have the volume turned down... if you've got the sound on, you just press the button on the beat...
  10. Eternal Sunshine is a wierd fucking film. The memory eraser scenes are positively mental. Enjoyed it though.

Yeah.. definitely very wierd.. One of those films that leaves you feeling a little funny for a bit after you finish watching it... For me anyway; I found the same thing with A Beautiful Mind...
