  1. I went to see Pan's Labyrinth last night.I know it had been written about in here, but I purposely read none of what was written. I knew next to nothing about the film beforehand, which is the way I like it; I like going in fresh with no hype and no idea of what the film's going to be about. So having gone back and read what was written in here now - DJM is an r-tard; this film kicked ass. "Disappointed by the end"? That is so fucking stupid. How can you be disappointed by that ending!?If you're still umming and ahhing about whether to bother to trek into London to catch it, LaGoosh - do it!Also, if you go to the Curzon in Soho, you can go to Wong Kei's for dinner beforehand, right round the corner (Best Chinese food around and cheap as fuck).

  2. Didn't Empire also give rave reviews to Walk the Line?I saw that this weekend and it was the biggest load of shit.Safe to say I don't put a whole lot of stock in their opinions... in fact I've yet to find a movie critic who's opinion I can, by and large, trust to go on. If anyone's got any suggestions, that'd be cool.

  3. Bad SantaThis was pretty funny in some bits.. but I thought it dragged a little... The young kid was seriously shot it. The ending was stupid aswell.

I really enjoyed this - I caught it a couple months ago, and I'm lookign forward to watching it again at Christmas time. Also, I never thought I'd see the words "not as good as Daddy Day Care" used as part of a positive review for something ...
  4. BoratA 'chuckle' film. not one I really belly laughed at apart from in a few places. It's okay but for some reason I was expecting a lot more. I'm still trying to work out if the ending was 'staged' or not... if not it is one of the greatest things I've ever seen, if it was then it wasn't funny at all.....

Surely if, by that stage, you can't tell one way or the other then they have done their job?
  5. So I finished Canis Canem Edit the other day.Great game. However - looking in the stats page there are certain things taht I haven't done, but I can't seem to figure out how to do them.Namely Water Baloons - I haven't found any of these. And there is some kind of weapon called the "Volcano" something - I don't know what this is either.Any help?I couldn't find anything on the net on this topic when I had a look around..

  6. Question for you guys - In Canis Canem Edit, the minigame you do in art class is based on an old arcade game I remember... Does anyone remember this game and what it was called? All I remember is that it used to be next to Afterburn in the arcade I went to, which helps me not at all.

  7. What do you mean by 'intelligent humour'? Because a lot of people think Frasier is the pinnacle of intelligent humour, but it's no more than puns and wordplay from a couple of guys talking posh. (Don't get me wrong, I do really like the show)I, personally, enjoy a lot of intricate refrence-based humour, which is why I find Arrested Development to be good intelligent comedy.

  8. Fair enough. I suppose his career has slowed down, due to his age and he probably doesn't want to end up like DeNiro, just doing anything for a buck. However, what he has done has generally been pretty good, best of his most recent work (that i've seen) is 'Angels in America', that's great.

Need I remind you again, Gossy, about a certain cameo he made in a certain Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck film? :p
  9. That doesn't make any sense.Surely if all he wanted to do was start an argument, he would have responded to Sickboy's comments..?Also, if he just went about starting arguments on anything, then his opinions wouldn't be very consistent, would they?He just has peculiar and particular tastes, strong opinions, and an abrasive and condescending tone.

  10. My mate went to Palace vs Cardiff the other week, and there were some lads from Cardiff getting pretty rowdy.

Here is his rather rubbish footage that he asked me to upload (his story about the incident was pretty entertaining, but I don't think the clips really do it justice) -

  11. Has anyone got any wwe scripts on their pc's. im really interested into how wwe run their shows. Thanks.

Someone posted a RAW script a while back on here that was a really intersting read. Unfortunately, I had it saved on my old work PC, so I don't have it anymore. I will send an email to a friend whom I sent it to, though, and see if they still have it...
