Thinking about going to Road to Glory, the next shows in February.  Spotted Billy Gunn is advertised.  Is he wrestling does anybody know, or just attending in some capacity?

Yeah he hasn't done their current storyline any favours when he posted a pic like this on social media. At the same time Vince and Steph are on Raw trying to sell his injuries.

 

The NXT account doesn't follow kayfabe. They're posting stuff about last night's episode of TV while simultaneously posting stuff from the live event from last night without trying to pretend the telly is live. They're upping pics constantly of talent larking about together despite being sworn enemies on TV. To be honest, NXT as an entity doesn't adhere to any semblance of kayfabe or consistency with main roster storylines - as has been discussed in several threads, Hunter appears at the start of TakeOver Brooklyn in a babyface style open, and him and Steph look the best bosses imaginable at the end of TakeOver Respect despite their characters being bastards on the main roster shows.

 

If we're not going to totally buy that pretending its all real is dead as a concept outside of the actual time that we're watching Raw or a PPV, then it's at least clear that NXT is a parallel universe that may share some characters from time to time with the other shows, but ultimately does not have to impact or reflect on what's happening on Raw, especially in regards to the Twitter account. Although now that I've written that, the vast majority of the main roster's Twitter accounts don't adhere to kayfabe half the time any way!

 

Nobody watching Raw that also follows the NXT Twitter account believes that Triple H is really in hospital. What the actual bloke is up to on any given night has no bearing on the events of the television show and the PPV events that it builds. It's not real.

I believe it's a bit behind isn't it?  So you can't pay that monthly fee and gte the latest comics on release day.  Kind of like how WWE Network doesn't have Raw for like 2-3 weeks until after it's aired

There isn't a female in the NXT Womens division, past or present, that I would turn down.

I've heard loads of good stuff about PROGRESS.  been thinking about getting the on demand service for a month or 2 and ploughing through everything.  I take it everybody in this thread would tell me that's a good idea?

Just watched the latest episode, and although I don't always agree with what some of you think about the Full Sail crowd, I did notice during the main event, there was a guy sat in the front row, reading a book.

 

I'll be going to my first PCW show on Sunday. Looking forward to it, but a little disappointed that Adam Cole (BAYBAY!!!) isn't on the Sunday card

Thought more would have been made from Joe beating Corbin.  If I remember correctly, that is his first real clean loss, as the only other I can think is him losing to Balor, following interference from Bull Dempsey

Fair enough.  With tomorrow being sunday probably be easy enough to watch it as soon as I wake up to avoid spoilers, but gonna stay up for it anyway.  Can be a warmup for SummerSlam the following day.

Was i the only one who actually quite liked the other F4 films? (The ones with Captain America as Torch)

 The second one, with the Silver Surfer, is the only film I've watched at the cinema and fell asleep during it.

 

another thought on last night's taping. Well, an announcement that happened about something on tonight's taping.

 

 

so, Bobby Roode has been tagging with Austin Aries as a team called 'The Dirty Heels'. Aries has gone and Roode beat up Spud because it was his fault for some reason. No idea why, but Spud is a face so battering him was quite a heelish thing to do.

 

At last night's taping, Roode won the KOTM title (originally held by Jarrett who declared he would take it to GFW IIRC) and was also announced as part of Team TNA (the face team) in the battle for control Lethal Lockdown match.

 

Would a heel turn costing Team TNA the match be too obvious?  The man who eventually destroyed TNA was their longest reigning former World Champion.  

 

Or am I over thinking TNA's booking here?

 

 

Roode's not part of Team TNA. The announced Team TNA was Lashley, Galloway and the Wolves.
