Not really sure where to put this, and didn't want to start a new thread just for this, but I only realised this morning when listening to Jim Smallman's Tuesday Night Jaw podcast that, not only has each member of The Shield now won the WWE Title, but also they all pinned another member of The Shield to win their first WWE Title (Seth pinned Roman at Mania, Roman pinned Ambrose at Survivor Series, Ambrose pinned Seth at MITB)

The image on that youtube video just reminded me that TNA had Jay Lethal, arguably one of the best wrestlers on the planet right now who has held the RoH title for over 12 months, and Xavier Woods (Consequences Creed) one of the most popular wrestlers in the world right now
Â
Â
I really liked Desmond Wolfe, was the first time I enjoyed anything Nigel McGuinness did.Â
Â
Likewise. Admittedly, I hadn't seen a huge amount of McGuinness, but I took against him due to his hair and that headstand in the corner. Seem to recall I boo'd him mercilessly at one of the Coventry Skydome shows.
Â
LOVED Wolfe, though. I think you've nailed it on the "technical yob" call.
Â
His little run as commissioner/commentator of Xplosion was great fun, too. "I've got a couple of wankers in the back who are going to come out and have a match." He called someone (Robbie E, I think) a "Helen Hunt" on commentary too.
Â
Oh, and ChelseaÂ
Â
He came in like a wrecking ball in TNA, looking like TNA were going to make a bit of a star out of him...and then nothing. Obviously he had issues later on in his career there too, but another missed opportunity from TNA to make a bit of a homegrown star
-
Well I enjoy watching TNA, deal with it for god sake lol.
Didn't wrestleuk (who has been quiet since Mr Jarrett came on the scene) used to end random sentences with "lol" too...?
-
Â
I believe Tommy was being sarcastic as they were tweeting it every 2 minutes at the point he posted that.
I was, and they were indeed going tonto on twitter.
Â
Oh. My bad.
-
Every time I see Mark Andrews live, my heart breaks a little that he's associated with this company. I mean, it's great for him being on shows and stuff (when he is). But with the Cruiserweight Classic coming up, and he's there doing absolutely nothing...what a waste

Are PCW doing an ippv? They could have plugged it on twitter or something, get the word out.
They have plugged it a little on Twitter. Think it was only announced a week or 2 ago.
Â
Also, Cody Rhodes announced for the Bradford show. On the subject(ish) of the Bradford show. PCW now run Preston, Blackpool, Liverpool and now Bradford (along with a show in Wrexham I believe). When is the time for a re-branding so as to not be named Preston City Wrestling anymore? Or do you not think that is necessary?

Finished Day 2 of SSS16 last night. Probably my favourite Progress show so far. All the matches were enjoyable. Bearing in mind that I don't watch ENDVR who is Roy Johnson? Really impressed me in the wasteman challenge.
Â
Card for Sunday looks solid, looking forward to it.
I'll tell you one thing. He's no wasteman
-
I doubt there are even 18 million people in the world who know what TNA is, nevermind actually watch it
-
Definitively, Manchester shows are doors at 2pm bell time 3pm. London shows are doors 2pm, bell time 4pm.Â
I stand corrected, and thank you as I would have shown up on Sunday for 3pm doors
-
It seems so pointless to go to those lengths in TNA. Nobody is around to hear that tree falling.
But if he does something crazy, I bet you'll see it
-
Â
Â
Doors at 2pm, show starts at 3pm, I believe. What time are Manchester doors / first bell this time, have they changed?
Yep, bell time same as before, doors just an hour later (they've found security & desk process at The Ritz is more efficient than the Electric Ballroom, so only need 1 hour to get everyone in)
Â
Isn't it usually Doors at 2pm, Show starts at 4pm, but next week it's doors at 3pm instead
-
Hero vs Scurll and Gibson vs Moser announced so finally the June 19th Manchester card is taking shape.
They were both announced a while back. FSU (Mark Andrews and Eddie Dennis) vs Dunne Bro.s (Pete and Damian Dunne) has been announced this evening for the show
-
I did the opposite for SSS16, and went from Manchester to Camden. I stayed over though and went home Tuesday morning. May have to give it a try sometime in the opposite direction. Main issue is the last bus home from Manchester is 22.55 on a Sunday, and I'd end up having to shell out for a taxi home from town (I actually live closer to Bolton than Manchester)
-
Just on a side note, obviously the camera work and editing inside was pretty horrendous but did people not think the external stuff using the drone camera was pretty marvelous looking? They did a similar video about Marias' arse a few weeks back which was spectacular. It's nice to see a bit of external stuff instead of everything just existing in the arena.
Now this is a video that I'd like to see

Â
what was with that Aussie tag team? They debut by cutting a promo announcing they're going straight for the top of the NXT tag division, commentators put over all their accolades, and then they lose to what I'm pretty sure is still non-contracted talent? what's all that about?
Gargano and Ciampa have contracts now, pretty sure they signed deals a couple of months or so ago.
Â
Are you sure? Ciampa is appearing in Brixton for PROGRESS in September. If they signed deals a few moths ago, surely he wouldn't still be doing an Indy date, that is still 3 months awayÂ

Well worth the journey frm Manchester. That was absolutely amazing. MAndrews vs Hero was absolutely the best match I've ever seen. Chris Hero ain't nothing to fuck with. Absolute MVP of the weekend. Can't wait to see him again in Manchester
-
Joey should be back soon hopefully. Joey is also THE man. All FutureShock shows need more Joey Hayes. Â More FS Joey Hayes merch. (Not at the next show though, I'm also bringing along some non-wrestling fan buddies. Don't want them seeing me fangirl)
-
SSS16 draw looks awesome. Hoping for a Haskins vs End final, and just really hoping Whiplash doesn't beat Haskins, to end up facing End in the final instead going off the ending of the last chapter
-
Gonna get tickets for this when I get paid. That weekend is gonna be FutureShock on Friday, TNT on Saturday and PROGRESS on Sunday. Decent weekend of Wrestling that.
-
Called itCHRIS HERO IN SSS16!!!!!
That is all. Thank you.
-
Â
CHRIS HERO IN SSS16!!!!!
That is all. Thank you.
Â
nah. he's on the manchester show the following month sorry.Â
Â
still time for him to be added though!Â
Â
Yeah, that's what I meant. I'm going to both anyway haha
-
I read something about Roderick Strong potentially leaving soon. Â Not sure what that's about? Â He has been there a LONG time.
-
CHRIS HERO IN SSS16!!!!!
That is all. Thank you.

Â
The Bullet Club is a fitting tribute to the nWo in many ways. Just when you want rid of the fucking thing, they go and add more members. Isnt it time to fuck this thing off well and truly now?
Do they really sell much merch anymore? When I watch shows people seem to be wearing los ingobernables de japon stuff.

Very true, hadn't thought of that
