I came very close to giving this a miss due to travel from Swindon after the 4FW show. It was only when Miss Price (BOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!) gave me an ambiguous tweet about not being booked on the show, that I decided to ensure I made it back in time to come from the show, and boy I'm glad I did.
Great show top to bottom anyway, but the reaction to Zack Gibson yesterday was incredible

Re: point 1 - Race for the case, is it not the same idea but slightly tweaked? Regardless of that, its still a knock off Money in the bank so should be scrapped.
Point 2: Edwards - I never understood why he won the ROH title, and It's the same with the TNA title. He's another Chris Sabin for me. Talented, yes. World champion material? Not right now, no. He's best suited to his tag team really.
In other news: apparently Anthem are looking to drop the TNA name altogether. I'd imagine the belts would be replaced if that is so.
Not quite the same concept no nobody gets fired with this one and instead of having the title shot you've won in the case there's a number 1-4 number 1 gets first pick on which title he wants a shot at each title can only be picked once
wrong each suitcase correlates with a title shot.
so much for been a superfan you need a new gimmick chico
erm i can 100% assure you that your wrong the numbers inside DO NOT represent a specific title it gives you the order in which you can pick a title shot with each title only alowed to be chosen once try watching the show before you make such comments
Actually, you're still wrong. You get to choose a match of your choosing, nothing necessarily to do with title matches. If the match you choose is a title match, then fine, but you could use it to choose a match against Maxel Hardy if you really wanted to

Fuck Damo for using the one winged angel as his finisher.
That's been his move for a while

RestholdMania have already announced Ligero, Mastiff, Ridgeway, Smith, Rampage (although his PCW status is uncertain as he didn't work 3 dates he was announced for at end of last year and isn't on posters going forward) so it will be interesting what sort of lineup PCW have for the Saturday night show (although having said that I just reeled off about 10 names in my head plus the academy kids). There's an early summer weekender for the Tribute to the Troops gimmick isn't there?
Yes, but it's different venues rather than whole weekend in same place (from memory it's Friday night and Saturday lunchtime in Preston Guildhall, with then a Saturday night show at Evoque).
There's a lot on in that region that weekend. As an approximate plan, I think I'll be doing FutureShock in Prestwich on the Friday night, the Saturday afternoon PCW show in Preston and then WorkingAResthold's debut live 'pop-up' show in Manchester Saturday night.
I thought he was ill that weekend? Someone told me he didn't work the FutureShock show around the same time he was booked for, and was because of illness.

Anyone from here going on Sunday?
Should be. Currently pricing up RevPro on the Saturday though, which may affect that plan
EDIT: Going to Swindon on Saturday now, not RevPro. Train home arrives Sunday at 5pm, at which point I'll be heading straight over to Stockport

I've been finally working my way through the older shows. Finished ENDVR 2 last night, Chapter 10 next, which I believe is quite interesting...

I'll say it then - Thank YouKenny Omega got him the job. Callis (oddly) actually hunted down a tweet I did to Kenny Omega where I said "never stop trying to get Cyrus hired" and replied to me this morning saying "he didnt and now its official."
Cant help but think in some ways I am to thank for this ...

Not sure about that, but I have noticed he's in the UK with PCW the day before SSS16. Would love for him to be in that this yearIs Matt Riddle over here this weekend? Could make a more than worthy main event open challenger for Rampage Brown.

TV edits of all three Will Ospreay matches from the UK tour make up the current episode, available until Thursday. Marty Scurll comes off superbly in the York Hall bout.
Because he is superb

I've not seen it myself, so I can't comment, however, I was round my brother's last night and he said he'd watched Total Nonstop Deletion and "it was the biggest pile of fucking bollocks he's seen for years". (his exact words).
This is a guy who never misses Impact and scours CEX and Cash Converters for TNA DVDs.
He's not wrong
-
Exactly. Their most die-hard positive fan flaunts the fact he doesn't pay a penny to watch them, so what chance do they have?
Was just thinking the same whilst reading IANdrewDiceClay's post

Bumping this coz it's the last show of the year tomorrow night.
Looking forward to seeing who makes the finals of the FutureShock Trophy, and also who is next in line for a Womens title shot at Lana Austin. Also, obviously The Models.
-
also the young bucks resigned with roh. whats your thoughts on that?
My thought is that you are wrong as they signed new NJPW and ROH 2 year contracts last week. Believe it is a higher pay contract also.
I think it was a spelling mistake and he meant re-signed
I can see them turning up at the Hardy Compound in a few weeks, the Bucks were saying they were super kicking Vanguard 1 on Twitter and Matt Hardy challenged them to a match in ROH next year.
They did Superkick Vanguard 1, that was at the ROH TV Tapings the day after Final Battle. Can't see them showing up at TNA though. Doubt the ROH / NJPW contract allows that
-
I don't know how financially viable it would be to combine the 205 tapings with NXT, but that would surely help the crowd reaction.
Jack Gallagher was the stand out for me, I really hope he gets a show on Raw, he's the kinda character the division needs to succeed.
At a guess, that may cock up the "205 live" thing a little bit

I think anyone who chose to miss out on this weekend, missed out themselves. Incredible weekend of wrestling. First time seeing pretty muhc every single one of the imports live, and they were all brilliant.
If we don't get more Jurn Simmons and Axel Dieter Jr. over here now, with the lower price for importing guys from Germany over America, there is something terribly terribly wrong with people.
Team CZW (Dave Crist, Joey Janela, Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz) were absolutely awesome too
-
Can the 'hangover show' gimmick f*ck off now please?
Gimmick?
-
What time do Rev Pro shows usually start and finish?
-
I reckon he's a perfect fit for NXT, he's definitely got more upside than Ospreay and ZSJ, even Tommy End who has signed.
He was killing it in PWG and Evolve which helps a lot when trying to get the attention of WWE/NXT folk but he's just signed with ROH hasn't he?
Yes, which will stop him working EVOLVE, but he will still be able to work for PWG, as Adam Cole, Young Bucks and others do too

Just a slight moan, why are some British fans so intent on making the show about them and shouting (and chanting) stupid shit that has nothing to do with the match going on. I can't see how it does anything but ruin the show!
You don't go to many shows do you? That's British Wrestling fans for you. "Watch this lads, this will be well funny......MOOSE!!!!"

Now this is a picture. No idea where its from, but it the heels and faces are all together and the Undertaker's got his arms around Johnny Polo and Billy Gunn, so kayfabe is well and truly dropped for it. Look at Oscar off camera giving Shawn Michaels the bunny ears. No wonder he was ripped to shit at every opportunity. Actually looks like Yoko is trying to get his hand out the way.
That looks like it's Big Daddy V's hand, with his arm around Yoko, giving a peace sign, rather than Oscar

Doctor Strange is pretty good. Some amazing crazy psychedelic mental effects work
and the reveal of the Infinity Stone at the end got a great, audible reaction from the audience in the screening I was in - including from me!
Watched it last night myself and enjoyed it.

Regarding this Best of Kris Travis DVD, unless it's a different one, I've had that since May. Picked it up at a show though, rather than ordered online

Taking Paige as an example, those who went to shows that featured Brittani Knight and saw her early steps can feel some connection to her later success. It's still a bit stupid but it's as understandable as supporting your local football team or your national team in a World Cup. It's also a two-sided coin, in that someone like Finn Balor, who very much started on the UK & Ireland indies, had to put 2 years in at the performance centre before he was deemed ready for the WWE main roster. Is he still a UK & Ireland success story? It blurs at that point.
Soooo.....Paige spent 2 years in FCW / NXT but is a British success story because she wrestled in Britain first, but Finn Balor wrestled in Britain first, and then spent 2 years in NXT and the point blurs for him...?
